Au contraire.... him and Bertie get on like a house on fire...
  2. How about the fella that created this goal? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVb3NfTf7P8
  3. Assuming Cedric, Bertrand and Lemina won't be 100% fit (?), I'd go for.... --------------------- Forster ------------------------- ------ Stephens ----- VvD --------- Yoshida ------- Pied --------------------------------------- McQueen --------------------- Romeu ------------------------- --- Hojbjerg -------- Boufal ------------ Tadic ------ ---------------------- Austin ------------------------- subs: McCarthy, Hoedt, JWP or Davis, Hesketh, Redmond, Gabbi, Long Can't beat a traditional 3 - 2 - 1 - 3 - 1 formation
  4. The Fulham website says club colours (of either side) are allowed in the 'neutral' zone http://www.fulhamfc.com/visit/matchday-at-the-cottage
  5. Yep, seems they were holding back the left half of P4 for online sales as when I phoned the ticket office earlier there were only a few left in P4. Hey ho... seats bagged half way up, right behind the goal. All good.
  6. @SouthamptonFC Replying to @Lord_Trousers Our providers are working on a technical issue, but we hope to have them on sale again soon. #saintsfc
  7. Yep, but I'm holding out for more central seats (in blocks P3 and P4). Can't believe those blocks won't go on sale at some point, either as an additional Saints allocation or as an extension to the 'neutral' end. I also can't believe that Saints advertised tickets for sale to members at 9am today and, seemingly, hadn't checked to see if any were still available! (either that or they're having 'technical difficulties' getting the additional allocation on-line.)
  8. Would appear someone has cocked up.... They sent out a tweet just before 9 to say tickets now available to members, but still showing as sold out. They deleted the tweet shortly after sending it.
  9. I've parked at Hillingdon Station before. Easy to get to, not far from M25, decent size car park and only c.20 mins / 10 stops from Wembley Park on the met line
  10. Our PR department are usually pretty quick at announcement sell outs, so the fact they haven't done so yet for the Fulham tie would tend to suggest there are more tickets to come IMO
  11. With such insightful and articulate observations from someone who was there, it's tilted me back into the Pellegrino has to go camp. Thanks for sharing your observations mrfahaji
  12. And we'd be in 8th place and 3 points behind Arsenal if we hadn't conceded those last gasp goals. (Yes, I know other teams could probably claim similar "what ifs"....) "It's a funny old game, Saint...."
  13. You've been saying it since we got re-promoted to the premier league. You were bound to be 'right' sooner or later #brokenclocksyndrome
  14. So, narrow defeats so far this season vs Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea, two of which we deserved a draw (not today) and unfortunate not to beat Arsenal. Unfortunately, half decent performances against these top sides only serves to mask the underlying issues. If we don't get 3 points next week at home to Huddersfield then Pellegrino's position becomes less tenable...
  15. How is that a free kick and a yellow for Redmond? Shoulder to shoulder, surely?
  16. We've started playing football!
  17. Austin close again!!
  18. Fair point. A last second defeat vs Man City....a late goal from Arsenal for a draw... A narrow defeat here today (barring a last 10 minute capitulation).... Fine lines between success and failure
  19. All the way back to Forster from our corner. Just about sums it up
  20. Disallowed, but a second Chelsea goal looking inevitable sadly
  21. Yoshida does all the hard work to get there ahead of Hazard then gives it away cheaply
  22. At last he hasn't used all his "glad I was proven wrong" cards over the last 5 years or so...
