Contrary to the Daily Star sub-editor's 'artistic licence' interpretation of Koeman's words in yesterdays press conference, he hasn't actually "ruled out" any outcome. He's simply saying that 5th or 6th is a far more realistic expectation than 3rd or 4th. Which is pretty much what he's said all season, if you ignore the spin that journos and sub-editors apply to the answers to their leading questions...

How does the JCP manager decide what a "good reason" is? Do they have a check list issued by the DWP or is it purely down to their individual discretion? As I say, sounds like a bonkers decision (on the surface) for the emergency hospital scenario you highlighted.
