Nowadays, you've got imbeciles who think they're being clever by posting pictures of wildebeest popping into Lidl that look like they've been photoshopped by some pre-school urchin. Twats of the f***ing highest order. P.s. one of our local pubs is going to start charging for ice.... Ho f***king ho... How long did it take them to come up with that genius side-splitting' prank'...? Cretins.

Yep, same here...moved to Devon 5 years ago and food waste recycling is standard practice here. We have a 'designer' container in the kitchen which we decant on a daily basis into the bigger/uglier outside container. I'm not a recycling fanatic, but collecting food waste in this way isn't a big deal. P.s. we use decomposable bags in our kitchen recepticle, bit it's also ok to use non-decomposable bags too (e.g. sliced bread bags) as they get separated at the recycling depot
