  1. The meeting starts at 11am at Fratton Park according to the CVA document all creditors recieved. As for when we'll hear anything, no one really knows as it depends what happens.
  2. No they don't.
  3. Saints could potentially play Bournemouth 9 times in competitive games next season! Lots of banter to be had if that happened.
  4. Hopefully ticket details released in next couple of weeks.
  5. If they did it would make the taxman's vote against the CVA look pointless and silly. HMRC are too clever to made to look silly in public when they can't help it, which if AA has his way they will. Maybe they have yet to reveal their trump card and are holding it back until the last minute to ensure minimal wriggling.
  6. I think Pompey's situation is quite accurately portrayed on 10.3 with all the available information at the time. As pointed out by FMPR above, he is far from optimistic with the situation. I tried managing them and was hard to do anything unless you had a firesale due to the staggered loan repayments.
  7. It was a genuine question. It wasn't a dig at you or the site.
  8. Have you brought the rights to publish them Steve? It is very costly. You should warn people not to post them if you haven't. As they hunt you down, as shown with other internet sites getting into a lot of trouble. It is a big revenue stream for the Football League selling the fixture rights and they really don't like them anywhere other than on publications/websites that have paid.
  9. Leeds got 75.4% of the CVA vote and they still had their decision contested and Leeds lost leading to -15 points. http://www.accountancyage.com/accountancyage/news/2195698/leeds-enters-league-without-cva Same may apply to Pompey with the "exceptional circumstances" clause used again. I would imagine there would be alot of Football League clubs upset if they are on 0 points and start signing Tottenham and Arsenal players on loan and sign the England keeper in a new deal.
  10. If HMRC are willing to reject in order to get a better deal, they won't let this drop. They will contest AA saying they have under 25%.
  11. Tie of the round! http://www.football-league.co.uk/carlingcup/news/20100616/carling-cup-round-1-draw_2245684_2071780
  12. I've asked an Italian speaker and they have confirmed that the article says it means Fiorentina and Genoa co-own him and Fiorentinta want to buy out Genoa's share so they can sell him to Southampton.
  13. In Italy you can have a situation where a player is co-owed by two clubs although only registered to play for one. Papa Waigo is it "seems" co-owned by Fiorentina AND Genoa. The article in the opening post of this thread I think is suggesting that Fiorentina plan to buy out Genoa's half of Papa Waigo so they fully own him and then sell him to Saints.
  14. The best sign ever!
  15. Yes. Means they can't buy or loan anyone and also can't offer new contract to existing players, so Kanu, James, Rocha, Hreiðarsson etc have to leave. So they will be left with about 5 players and the youth team.
  16. You are allowed to start a season in administration. You aren't allowed to start a second season in administration. Pompey can start 2010/11 still in administration if they don't agree a CVA. They won't be allowed to start 2011/12 if they are still in administration, without a MASSIVE points deduction or just kicked out. That however may require funding to see them through 2010/11 which may not be forthcoming.
  17. Only if they exit admin without a CVA. They can (if they have the cash flow to do it) remain in administration for the next year without deductions.
  18. They just replayed it. He doesn't say anything new.
  19. AA was just interviewed on SSN. I only caught the end where he was being thanked for coming on. Anyone watch it all, what did he say?
  20. No chance, nor will Harding play right back like some have suggested. Either Mills will go on loan or Harding/Mills will be sold.
  21. Here you go... http://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/peterborough_united_2_1840/posh_close_to_signing_a_new_left_back_1_652323 Doesn't mean it is Harding though.
  22. Saltash isn't Plymouth(although there isn't much in it). He's a Cornish boy.
  23. Anyone would think you were a hypochondriac.
  24. I don't necessarily want a move to Jackson's Farm. But with ambitions of competing to a decent level for example in 4 years time in the Premier League, the stadium either has to be improved or a relocation required. Cortese has said as much in interview.
  25. Did you not see the rules UEFA are phasing in over the next 5-8 years? Clubs won't be able to spend more than they earn. It is in Saints interest to have as many seats as they can fill and have the highest income possible.
