FM 2010 hints, tips, cheats & gems of players / tactics
Matthew Le God replied to SO16_Saint's topic in Computer Games
You could have still registered him using the option from the squad page. -
Some Pompey fans are copying Man Utd and starting a scarf protest. Pompey originally played in pink so are using pink scarfs like the yellow/green scarfs of Man Utd. Seems a strange idea as the yellow/green protest is against the Glazers. Who are Pompey fans actually protesting about when the club is being run by an independent administrator? My theory is these protests are started by the owners of scarf factories. Like the episode of Blackadder and the leaches.

Peter Walton, the ref from the Leeds game
Matthew Le God replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
He was never relegated from the Prem. All Prem refs have the occasional game in the Football League. -
He also stated that he doesn't court publicity. Yet...he goes on Quay radio, meets fans with press "around", talks to SSN and also goes on Secret Millionaire on Channel Four which is basically a look at me and how nice and generous I am program.

Where have you got 64 from? 6th place Colchester have 63 points, Saints have 50 points.
-
Because they went into administration before March 27th. Saints went into administration after the deadline.
-
So you think Antonio is better than Puncheon? He really isn't! btw Antonio wasn't in the team that beat Norwich, Huddersfield, Walsall or Leeds
-
Haven't you noticed he hasn't been in a Saints squad for the last 4 games?

Looking to Exchange 2 Tickets! (genuine)
Matthew Le God replied to the saint in winchester's topic in The Saints
Why did you put the word genuine in brackets? Do you think that would stop someone flogging you fake ones? -
So who's received their wembley tickets in the post yet?
Matthew Le God replied to saints_is_the_south's topic in The Saints
What was that meant to mean? -
How do you know either way?

So who's received their wembley tickets in the post yet?
Matthew Le God replied to saints_is_the_south's topic in The Saints
I just received 3 x £34 tickets and 2 x £44 tickets, so they have. -
I'm not sure what exactly you are trying to say? Pompey were only given 32k as will Spurs/Fulham due to club Wembley seats all being taken. It will be a 88k - 90k sellout.
-
Which law is that? Certainly one that has no foundation in reality.

Because administration for a club with running costs as large as Pompey can't last forever, they'd run out of funds from Chainrai. A creditors meeting has to be arranged relatively soon and AA said it will be in about 6 weeks time, the high court has forced there to be an initial one in 9 days from now.
-
HMRC have a history of not agreeing to anything less than 100p in the £ HMRC will be over 25% of the unsecured creditors If Pompey don't find a buyer in the next few weeks this is all irrelevant as they would be wound up instead.
-
They went into administration before the cut off of March 27th. Saints went into administration after the cut off hence why Saints were deducted this season and not last season. However it is unlikely that they will agree a CVA (due to the HMRC being over 25% of unsecured creditors and not signing unless they get 100p in the £1) and the Football League will hit them with a large points deduction for 2010/11. This may also be increased further, like Luton Town with around -25 points for financial irregularities.

Wayne Thomas is the 2nd choice(possibly 3rd behind James) right back and he is on a huge wage.
-
A 16 year old is being selected ahead of him on the bench atm so I'm not sure if he will.
-
They didn't. I can't see any news item from any site that says that. The Reading and Saints OS both say he is on loan. I think you may be confusing it with the Jon Otsmeobor deal where he was released by Norwich and signed for Saints on a 6 month deal. Prove it by providing a link from a credible source.

Antonio is not a Saints player.
-
Be good if true. But hard to believe, as Saints haven't had more than 20k for any midweek league game this season.
