I doubt it is much more than he read it on a forum somewhere else.

Most of which were sub appearances coming on for under 20 minutes late on in the Premiership. He was also played out wide a lot. For League One he'd be a very good signing if this rumour is true.
-
A tall 23 year year old striker/winger with 60 games in the Premiership and a former Portuguese Under 21 that could be a mate for Fonte and backup for Lambert and you say "no thanks". We are in League One remember and Vaz Te would be a great signing.

A rumour from...?
-
I think you are confusing the FA with the Football League.
-
Harding won't complete the journey from League One to Premiership with Saints as he isn't good enough to do that. Probably only Lallana, Schneiderlin and Fonte are good enough for that. "Maybe" Pardew and Cortese see Dickson as being able to go the whole way and don't want to turn down the chance to sign him for free despite Harding having an admittedly very good season.
-
Over 25? Seaborne and Puncheon are 23 years old.
-
It also doesn't have the 125 anniversary badge, so you are reading far too much into it.

It was cancelled. Was a terrible idea in the first place.

Without Papa Waigo and Antonio maybe Pardew wants Dickson, Lallana and Puncheon for the wide positions. I still think Antonio may come back so it would be two from Dickson, Antonio, Lallana and Puncheon for the two wide midfield roles and Dickson can cover Harding aswell.

May end up being a similar thing that happened with Paterson & Barnard.

Brentford's local paper which has quotes. Daily Echo take note! Although not quotes saying he is going to Saints but that he is on his way from Brentford and speculation Saints are monitoring. http://www.hounslowchronicle.co.uk/west-london-sport/west-london-brentford-fc/2010/05/19/brentford-seek-ryan-dickson-replacement-109642-26475923/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

The Official Summer Transfers and HCDAJFU Thread
Matthew Le God replied to supersonic's topic in The Saints
:D You have set your sights far too low. -
Charlton will be a shell of the side of this year. They have huge money problems and may go into administration over the summer. Sheff Weds will be strong, but won't spend much as they also have money problems. Plymouth and Peterborough will be top half probably playoffs but shouldn't pose much of a threat. Hudddersfield will be strong as will Millwall if they stay down. Swindon if they don't go up may lose a few players. Brighton will have a much better season.
-
You only have to look at what Blackpool, Swansea, Nottm Forest and Leicester have done so soon after promotion from League One.
-
The contracts won't start until 1st July 2009 and a CVA will either be approved or rejected by then. They may be provisional in the event of the CVA failing.
-
I think I've made my point to Robbie now.
-
Time to merge both the Surman threads as it seems pointless having two when both are saying the same thing?
-
He is a current Premiership player, proven at Championship level. Something only Fonte and in the past Jaidi, Connolly and Davis can say of those currently in the squad. Saints are a League One club and Surman would walk into our squad and starting line-up.

They are in talks with Rocha for a new contract according to the administrator and Finnan may stay perhaps. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/Pompey-move-to-keep-Iceman.6300799.jp
