  1. Nope they have got 2k
  2. His performance on a Tuesday in March was irrelevant to winning Saints player of the month for February.
  3. That isn't what they said. It was David Gold that believed they weren't and he is clearly wrong based on what happened in court.
  4. "Wind up Pompey, Pompey wind up" Works better.
  5. Not going to bother when the view from the away end is like this... None of the 844 Saints fans will have a clue what is happening!
  6. I think the aim is to sell as much merchandise on the back of the Wembley trip as possible. This is one of their ploys. Not going to work on me but it will for a lot of people.
  7. I'd imagine the Huddersfield and Walsall fans thought it was cringeworthy. The three match officials last night all laughed at it when they were warming up.
  8. He does "Papa, Rickie, Adam, all of you" thing for the kids in the Chapel Stand but none of them care.
  9. Every match he is required to announce ticket details he always get the figure and info wrong. For example last night he said in the 2nd phase of Wembley tickets you could buy direct from the ticket office in person. He also said that the Southern Final of the JPT only had one leg. Just a couple of countless **** ups during the season he has made.
  10. Nope, it is possible to win 1 or 2 games in the playoffs and go up. Play off semi is two legged and you could lose or draw one of the legs and win the other. Could even draw both games in the semi and win on penalties. Thus only winning the final.
  11. You are a bit confused. The two aren't mutually exclusive! If Saints lose a League One playoff final then they can still win League One the next season.
  12. Are Leicester looking like mid table team in the Championship after promotion from League One? 5th place after 33 games. Would Saints spend more than Leicester in the summer if promoted? Based on spending so far I'd say that is very likely If we used your logic of if Saints went up they'd have to consolidate in 2010/11 season in the Championship then I assume you mean go for promotion in 2011/12. If Saints go up next season instead then it delays the promotion push to the Championship for a year.
  13. Which makes no sense as contradicts your opening statement. You are arguing against yourself.
  14. This is a no brainer. You ask which would you prefer, so of course everyone should say play offs this season. Please explain why you would rather Saints not be promoted this season?
  15. It wasn't really a prediction was it!? He didn't say Saints would win 5-0, he said to help with goal difference a 5-0 win would help. There is a big difference between the two!
  16. You can't compare AFC Wimbledon or FC United of Manchester with AFC Portsmouth. Both of the former are protest clubs and MK Dons and Manchester United still exist. AFC Portsmouth is not a protest club. Rules state that a phoenix club only has to start two leagues lower. So is possible League Two, but more likely Conference Premier. Southampton last summer were in going to reform in the Conference Premier according to league representatives if they folded. Pompey fan groups have already been in discussion with the Conference should the worst happen.
  17. Because his dad is famous (played 8 times for England) and we know his surname is Chamberlain.
  18. Just to remind people, Brett Omerod at the age of 33 is still playing and scoring in the league above Saints for the 8th place team in the Championship...
  19. You didn't mishear. The announcer kept changing the figures.
  20. Is this a new and positive alpine_saint?
  21. Look at the future loans they have to pay and you really don't have to do anything.
  22. Yep, thats how I intended the best 11 to look.
  23. Out of interest without including any new signings how would everyone line up the Saints squad first 11 in 10.3?
  24. Dreamland Also I'd like to see how they get £5m for a player on loan.
