  1. What a strange comparison! Every match of the World Cup is live on the TV. How many Saints games that Danny Seaborne has played in, have been shown live in Austria? Also watching a game on TV isn't the same as seeing a player live at the stadium. The camera misses a lot.
  2. Sounds good to me.
  3. If AA concedes that he can make a better offer, that shows he hasn't been acting in the best interests of the creditors. There is a huge difference between the two proposals, which potentially shows he hasn't been acting as an administrator should if Griffins offer is feasible or close to a workable level.
  4. I think you have missed the point.
  5. It isn't difficult for Saints. Only these players don't qualify... Jose Fonte Radhi Jaidi Morgan Schneiderlin (though I think he will once he registers this season as that would be 3 seasons before turning 21)
  6. Outcomes of the Football Leagues annual meeting held this year in Malta... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/8729294.stm Some interesting implications for Saints
  7. We should have a hall of fame for threads where people were actually proved to be truly ITK.
  8. Doesn't sound nice does it? Yes, ginger is not a race. But one has just as little say in genes that determine the colour of your hair, as you do the colour of your skin.
  9. As I said, a tie in with the Maltese tourist board. So may cost them nothing if the hosts pay. http://www.football-league.co.uk/latestnews/20100603/malta-partnership-announced_2245681_2063057 Also, giving money to the Football League is optional for the public, paying taxes is compulsory (unless you are Pompey )
  10. - They have a nice 5 star hotel with conference facilities and Mediterranean climate. - A tie in with the Maltese tourist board. It isn't tax payers money, so don't worry.
  11. He is in Malta today, at the Football League's annual meeting.

  13. I think a mural in grass of the Alps is needed.
  14. Last year they did "dark atmospheric kit photos" with Paul Wotton in the training dome - rain didn't matter
  15. Delgado was a very good player. It was his injury problems and attitude that let him down.
  16. The exceptional circumstances rule may yet apply to Pompey even if they do get over 75% of the CVA vote, as Leeds did. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/2318216/Leeds-United-handed-15-point-deduction.html http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/leedsunited/United-caught-in-battle-between.3706070.jp
  17. Leeds got -15 points in 2007/08, not -17 points.
  18. So you want the club to tell you what it is doing in the transfer market and you don't want other clubs gazumping Saints? You can't have both. How do you know the club hasn't signed a host of players on free transfers(Calderon, Dickson etc) that will join on 1st July when there contracts run out on 30th June?
  19. No, but my word count on my Mac did in a micro second. The hard copy version is also probably even longer.
  20. Cortese is currently in Malta, I'm sure a few things such as the kit will be announced when he gets back.
  21. There is literally no "news" in that article. Just a vague quote from an agent that Adu would consider a move to England at some point - not even answering the question posed to him! From which the reporter manages to create a 567 word article and then gets it published. A genuine well done to them for actually contacting the agent, but with a quote that means little like that they shouldn't have run a story.
  22. Turkish really is a vile individual.
  23. And cook up a ticket to jail for himself in the process of doing so?
  24. 5) Are you aware that it is the 7th June and pre seson doesn't start until the end of June? Even if players were signed now there is NO training for weeks, so NO gelling can be done.
