  1. I think they reseed it pretty much every summer. It works aswell, given how many times The Dell and St Mary's pitch has won awards.
  2. What bizarre logic! You can't use the results of a team to determine the ability of an individual like that.
  3. So if Dickson plays LM, where are you suggesting Lallana plays?
  4. I don't understand why it "seems" Gordon Simpson didn't contact the ticket office himself. Instead he says fans are reported to have had a reply from the ticket office.
  5. 27th May - http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/8187932.Saints_in_line_for_cash_boost_from_defender_s_move/ 1st June - http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/8195071.Van_Damme_deal_nets_Saints_a_cash_boost/ 2nd June - http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/8196109.Wolves_signing_means_cash_for_Saints/ If I visited your office would I learn how to rehash "news" three times?
  6. The Saints OS said yesterday...
  7. I did wonder if the season tickets were announced on the OS at 11pm for that reason.
  8. I think its more fun to let him work it out for himself, if he hasn't already. He really is very much like the Iraqi Information Minister.
  9. Why black shorts? In the 65 years between 1885 and 1950 the club didn't have black shorts. That is over 50% of the clubs existence without black shorts!!! What colour socks do you want"? Saints socks have been blue, black, white, red, red & white, with no one style dominating the rest in terms of frequency.
  10. Are you confusing the writ being issued on the 18th May with them taking Pompey to court on the 18th June? At no point in the article does it say when the court case will be. Yet alone the day after the CVA vote. http://www.financialdirector.co.uk/accountancyage/news/2263990/hmrc-lines-football-creditor
  11. Would you not prefer Crouch with Rooney? He can hold up the ball, win balls in the air and has a great goalscoring record as I'm sure you know.
  12. 17 of Barnard's goals were at Southend (without Rickie as a partner).
  13. http://www.footballmanager.com/index.php?p=patches If you have the Mac download version you need the Mac eSellerate 10.3 patch.
  14. Automatic turnstiles with season ticket swipecards(like at Newcastle) or paper tickets with bar codes(like at Wembley) would stop this as individual tickets could be de-registered from working if payment is not made.
  15. That is an interesting twist.
  16. So you base your opinion on rumour? What if a paper ran stories about David Cameron that had no evidence in them. Would you change your mind on him? You are far too easily influenced by the media!
  17. Read and answer all points in post 124. Pretty please.
  18. Dune can't or won't respond to all my points/questions in post 124
  19. How do you know what happened with the Echo? How do you know if a ban was or was not justified? What he said about Le Tiss and Lawrie when you read it word for word is hardly "slagging" as you put it... ACTUALLY READ IT! They were asked a question that was based on rumour. Le Tiss and Lawrie could have said "no comment it is just idle rumour". Instead they choose to comment on something they knew little about other than press speculation. Cortese just defended his position in the article, he hardly "attacked" them in that article. If anything Le Tiss and Lawrie should be the ones apologizing.
  20. Do you not know anyone in Southampton that can buy tickets for you?
  21. Maybe this is for the good then. People in that position shouldn't be spending hundreds of pounds to add to their debt with luxuries like season tickets. I'm not saying they shouldn't goto the football(pick and choose a few games through the season), but cutting back on things like season tickets should be a priority when trying to sort out personal finance problems.
  22. This just proves how little you do know. Because... ...the MALI group has nothing to do with cranes and dumper trucks. That is his families multi billion business that he left in 1994 taking his share of money with him and setting up the MA(rkus)LI(ebherr) Group.
  23. Numerous media sources have stated he is a billionaire. A number have put the figure at £2.6 billion. The Mali Group is a huge operation of 5 companies - or MArkus LIebherr Group - just look at their website. He left his families multi billion company to set it up by selling it his share to siblings. The money he got he put into the MALI group. A year ago Nicola Cortese was working for Banque Heritage in Geneva, managing the finances of billionaires according to The Times. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/football_league/article7070442.ece These are circles Cortese was in and the contacts he had. He is now working for Liebherr at Saints. He met Liebherr through business. He is unlikely to be associated with anything smalltime given his recent past and cliental at Banque Heritage.
  24. Did the owners at these other clubs wipe out £30m of debt, build a new training facility and invest heavily in the first team squad? There is clear evidence of investment at Saints that goes further than just promises.
  25. Can you show otherwise?
