Or Championship players that are out of favour.

Why are you so confident about that?

This is why a mod needs to change the thread title to something less concerning for those that don't realize its an old story that has been bumped.

I've been in the Arsenal changing rooms and they are amazing. If St Mary's is now anything like them then I'm impressed A tour of the Emirates changing rooms on Football Focus. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLeGF0skapE

Plymouth 5,000 members http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=123143047127&ref=nf Bristol 11,000 http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=95912219510&ref=search&sid=500257548.3158205237..1 Southampton's at 700 and in the need of alot more in the next 13 days if the FA based decisions on this. Which we are lucky we don't because Saints are miles behind showing the level of support these others have. Many of the other cities don't have a facebook group at all(or one with only a couple of hundred in it, does this mean the FA will reject them cos they don't have enough gulible faceble user fans?) Not that the FA would care anyway

Lallana plays alot further forward than Schneiderlin. It isn't really in his brief to be getting in loads of shots each match. As nice at it would be for him to be scoring, his role in the overall team strategy is very different to Lallana's and changing it may unbalance the team.

They have qualified and as I said earlier, Jaidi hasn't been called up since Feb 1st 2009

The whole 90 minutes is on Saints player for £40 per year
-
We now have 90 minutes of film evidence to check the offsides and overall play. Everyone that has Saints player watch the game again (the whole 90 minutes available to view) Alot of anti Papa Waigo views will change imo - he played well! Sorry to shout in big letters, but I feel watching the game again will end alot of the arguments on here

I didn't say do nothing, I said if anything will happen on this front the only people that will make a difference is the council and club putting forward a good case and proposal. Comparing it to the Tolpuddle Martyrs and the Suffragettes is laughable really. I doubt a facebook group would have done their cause any good either. A Southampton 2018 bid doesn't need direct action form the people, it needs those in a position of influence and power to do something. If anything happens in the next 2 weeks it will only come due to the city council and Nicole Cortese having talks with the FA. As I said before the FA would be fully aware that every one of the current 15 cities has public support in their regions. Its obvious that would be the case. If they were even made aware of this Saints group which I doubt they ever will be, what would a facebook tell them that they didn't already know? The FA is concerned with the bids from the cities meeting the criteria needed. It is a given that every one of the bidding cities has support from the majority of the community.

No need to worry... Senegal haven't qualified Tunisia haven't called Jaidi up since February 1st 2009

Made available the entire 90 minutes of a League Game played the day before! Previously they have shown 90 minutes of the under 18's against Man Utd and the whole of the JPT game against Torquay. Normally Saints player has roughly 12 minutes highlights of league games. For some reason they have given us the chance to watch the whole Wycombe Wanderers game again(well if you were like me one of the 16k that actually went). Those that didn't now is your chance! I hope this is a regular occurrence for every league game from now on I'm going to watch it again to see if Waigo really was offside. Hard to tell when at the stadium and not in line with it(like the lineman last night from what I remember for some of them ).

I wouldn't even call it a slim chance. The FA won't even be aware of this campaign and if they were wouldn't take any notice. Don't you think "most" fans of every bidding city want their city to win the bid? Do you not think the FA are aware of this? Bids aren't won on fans signing petitions, they are based on city councils working with clubs to put together a well thought out proposal meeting the 93 points required from bidding cities on the FA's list. I have a feeling Saints are still trying to do something behind the scenes due to the local press coverage and interest in the story not being denied. Nicole Cortese expressed an interest at the BBC fan forum which showed they are interested and the comments from people at Pompey and Soton council were encouraging. However facebook groups will be completely irrelevant in the big scheme of how an organization like the FA works. It really does have a 0% chance of making a difference. Don't think I don't want Southampton to host the world cup, I'd love them to. However if anything is going to happen let Nicole and the city council do their stuff if the FA allows.
-
Completely pointless and will make no difference If anything is going on with respect to a Southampton bid(if not too late already) it will go on behind the scenes. Not in a million years will the FA pay any attention to a facebook group.

What game were you watching? 1) Connolly was injured and not in the squad. 2) Papa did play on the right wing last night. We started 451 with Papa and Adam out wide then changed to 442 with Papa upfront and Adam and Lloyd out wide and then changed back to 451 late on.

Innocent until proven guilty is a concept not known to some people that have posted in this thread so far.

When the player passing the ball and the defensive line are along way apart the linesman has a near impossible job. He has to be looking at two areas of the pitch at the exact same time to see the defensive line(and Papa) and the point at which the ball is played(perhaps 40 yards behind). If the linesman looks at the ball and then back to the defensive line at that point Papa could have already made his move and may "look" offside when he wasn't. Of course last night this wasn't always the case and he was actually offside on a few occasions but was relevant in others. He is still a very good player in this league, he really needs some good coaching to tell him that his pace will allow him to delay the run for longer or angle his runs.

I have a theory that all those saying "leave the badge alone!" have a tattoo of the 1970's designed Saints badge and would feel silly if the 40 year old badge changed even though the club didn't have that badge for the first 85 years of history.

Can you go 2 hours without food or drink?

Insightful You are welcome to disagree with me but at least state why? This thread is more about people ruining the match experience for others, rather than telling them what to do.
