  1. That isn't irony. Nor would they be "ringers". Look both words up in a dictionary.
  2. That isn't ironic, nor would they be ringers.
  3. Players like Pulis, Gillet, Forecast, Molyneux etc are unlikely to be here beyond the summer so pointless giving them reserve time when it would hold back the youngsters.
  4. Porter
  5. He clearly isn't any good. Was rubbish here even beyond the Palace game. Now he should be at his peak at 28 years old and is a Brentford player on loan to Wycombe.
  6. That is £60k on average for a month. £15k p/w
  7. For nearly every club roughly 50% of the average attendance is made up of season ticket holders. This obviously fluctuates from club to club. It works out a lot cheaper as a season ticket holder. Divide the cost of a season ticket by 23 games and it is a lot lower than buying on a game by game basis. I'd advise against row B. Gives a terrible view of the game. Best to sit as close to the halfway line as possible from about row K up to the very back. As long as you are central, sitting near the back at St Mary's gives a great view. Hence why all the posh seats are situated there in the Itchen. So get an equivalent seat in the Kingsland.
  8. A couple of hundred season ticket holders! You'd have to go to the bottom half of the Blue Square leagues to find those sort of numbers!
  9. I'm intrigued why you asked this...? Of course they pay. Otherwise.... 13,000 season ticket holders could have for example 10 home Cup games or they could get none it is varible from season to season. That is potentially 130,000 free tickets, times £20, equals £2.6m That is ALOT of money to miss out on.
  10. Yes, of course only league games but you get priority for cup games for your seat when tickets go on sale. Yes of course you do. If the seat next to your seat is a non season ticket then they can have that if you order it quick enough. If the seat isn't free then you can get two seats somewhere else but only pay for one of them(as you as a season ticket holder has already paid). You also have to give the ticket office your season ticket until after the game. You get a season ticket booklet which has vouchers for all 23 league games.
  11. Sky say that Pompey have altered the document from how Vectis originally submitted it to them.
  12. Maybe the photocopier broke down whilst it was being triplicated. Where is a photocopy salesman when you need one?
  13. Different reason as it wasn't due to a team going out of business but still they lost. Using your logic they wouldn't have been reinstated. http://sport.scotsman.com/dunfermlinefc/Dunfermline-ejected-from-Scottish-Cup.5984442.jp
  14. 3rd Thursday in in March until 1st of June iirc
  15. I'll summarise in my own words.... It was introduced because the transfer window used to end in March. Yes, transfer windows aren't new they have been about for a long time, they just got shorter. March is the time of the quarter finals and the cup tied rule is to stop the last 8 teams in the cup buying players late on to aid the cup run. With the introduction of short January windows the cup tied rule is outdated.
  16. He has been improved a little. If he continues to play for the rest of the season then he is likely for a big improvement for FM11.
  17. Yes.
  18. Patience is a virtue! Won't be long...
  19. Warrant out for Al Fahim's arrest, so I doubt he will be making that reported bid anytime soon. http://www.thenational.ae/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20100217/NATIONAL/702169823&SearchID=733820430122
  20. Game of the day on Sky shows the whole 90 minutes of the best Prem game and is very popular.
  21. Someone that is a Saints fan in the UK or abroad and was unable to goto the game?
  22. New message on Saints Player... They have already had the full 90 minutes on video for a few games this season(Pompey, Wycombe, Torquay and Man Utd under 18's). Now it seems they are doing it for every game! A great purchase for £17.99 a year - I sound like a sales rep
  23. Lots seem to say he was rubbish in the Palace game and then improved a lot. I didn't see the improvement. He was rubbish throughout his time at Saints. Hence why at the peak age for a footballer of 28 he is a Brentford player on loan at Wycombe Wanderers.
  24. Trying to get my head round what that last one means. Anyone sum it up?
