What would be the point in a loan? The Championship isn't a challenge for him, so where does he go to improve at 25 years old? It would leave us needing another striker for 2022/23 and then a bloated squad when Armstrong returns. Some may point to Elyounoussi's loan to Celtic and whilst he has been better in his second spell at Saints, he really isn't the level we need to progress.
