The formation was the same 4231 as normal. There was more rotation than normal throughout the game of who was where in the 3 roles behind Larin.

The formation yesterday was the normal 4231 that we've done very well with under Eckert. The difference was there was a lot more rotation of the 3 behind the striker than normal. Azaz was wide right for a lot of the first half, when he is far more effective in the 10 role.

Can't be helped when Downes is injured and Jander is coming back from injury. Bragg/Ward-Prowse partnership worked in big wins against Millwall and Bristol City. I'd be surprised if Jander doesn't come on for Bragg around 60 to 70 minutes into the game.

He doesn't look suited to play right back at all. So that is a red flag for a player described as a centre back who can play right back. Would be useful to see how he does as a centre back.

Before the sending off, Ward-Prowse was playing on the right, Azaz was playing as a number 10 behind Larin. It was still 4231, not 433
