Their record signing is... Tore André Flo for £12m... 25 years ago! They haven't come close to those numbers since then.

Huge difference! Bamford has never scored more than 17 Championship goals in a season. And that was 11 years ago and 16 goals 6 years ago! Armstrong scored 24 Championship goals as recently as 2023/24. Bamford scored 0 in 17 last season and only 8 in his last 50 Championship games! He is not the answer our strikers!

I didn't say it was wrong or wouldn't happen. I said it was jumping to conclusions. Very different things! Plus I think Caspar Jander is more of the Fernandes replacement than Azaz.

Patrick Bamford has only scored 8 goals in his last 50 Championship games! Including 0 in his 17 Championship games last season. I'm puzzled how someone can look at that and think he'd be worth signing to score us 20+. He has lost it as a goalscoring force at this level.

Would Shea Charles £15m or Flynn Downes £18m? Might just rotate so they all get gametime.
