  1. He literally played for our first team today! He could be a useful player next season in the Championship on a large wage. There is no incentive for him to do as suggested and give up 50% of the money he signed up to receive!
  2. My silence was cooking dinner for my daughter. Wilcox put together a squad that got us promoted and got some very big fees for the departing players. A big reason why we struggled thix season was because we didn't upgrade a lot of those players last summer. But that is not Wilcox's fault... as he had already left.
  3. What incentive does he have to accept losing 50% of his contracted income? U21s not u23s
  4. It is not justifiable. You can't just terminate a contract by only paying off 50% of it if there is not stating of that in the contract or the player doesn't agree to it. What incentive does he have to accept that? Especially given he is now fit enough to play for us.
  5. Wilcox appointment wasn't a failure. Let's give Spors a chance!
  6. Try reading my post again!
  7. I have no idea why he thinks that is a good idea! 😁
  8. Sport, not Sports. Wilcox and Shields left because they had a job offer from one of the world's biggest clubs. That isn't a negative for Sport Republic.
  9. Juric isn't helped by a terrible squad that is completely out of its depth and was put together to play MartinBall.
  10. What is that based on?
  11. Not the same role. Plus Martin had no top flight experience in a major European League, Spors has.
  12. Correct, but doesn't matter for the reasons outlined.
  13. He has a track record of promotions into top flights of major European leagues. Whether it is the Championship or not is irrelevant.
  14. He hasn't got worse... this season for us he was playing vs significantly better players than last season and for WBA he is playing in a role he isn't suited for.
  15. Even if it were 8, 9 or 10 that is a long way from the level in the top 5 like Germany and Italy.
  16. Not really
  17. The Championship is a long way from the standard of the top European Leagues, like that in Germany and Italy.
  18. Hopefully! Hard to be worse!
  19. Not in the top flight of a major European league he didn't! Spors has in both Italy and Germany, plus also in the Netherlands.
  20. Those two points you quoted of mine are not incompatible with each other. Quite a few of the best players will probably leave, opening up the need for replacements.
  21. I'm dictating, not typing.
  22. It is Sport, not Sports. So I'm judging you on continuing to not even get the name correct for the company you are dismissing! Plus, Johannes Spors good track record at other clubs is completely separate from Sport Republic decisions at Saints.
  23. Other people, not Spors. So why judge Spors on the actions of other people he had no influence over?
  24. Evolution, the species doesn't survive if you intentionally injure yourself time after time.
