  1. Contract expires in 2027
  2. Mon aéroglisseur est plein d'anguilles. FC Nantes looking to finalise a deal for Bella-Kotchap on loan with an option to buy but face strong competition.
  3. Apart from the numerous players we've signed for more than that! 😉
  4. We have a significantly bigger wage budget, significantly bigger income and a better squad.
  5. This started with him trying to correct me. Not the reverse.
  6. He was attempting the correction. So why didn't you say that to him?
  7. 'Less' has idiomatic football usage

  10. No, it was talking about numbers of goals so is 'less'. https://www.oxfordreference.com/display/10.1093/acref/9780199661350.001.0001/acref-9780199661350-e-2054
  11. Amazing lack of self awareness in that post I can only see because it was quoted above. Pot and kettle come to mind.
  12. 2023/24 saw us score only 2 less than 1st place Leicester. It was the other end where the issues stopping us get into the automatic spots were, not goalscoring.
  13. We'll be getting a keeper regardless of player sales. Still has stated he wants another so Moody can play for the u21s.
  14. Yes, in the Championship, no in the Premier League. I wouldn't rule out that second one turning to a yes at some point.
  15. He didn’t have a good Premier League season, but he has been a key player in two teams promoted from the Championship. He looked very rusty vs Ipswich... but he missed most of pre-season and didn't play any friendlies.
  16. Wouldn't actually seeing any players that are signed play a decent sample of games make more sense than just waiting until the end of the window?
  17. Before doing this... wouldn't it be sensible to wait until at the very least the end of the window? Even more sensibly, until we've seen any new players play a decent sample of games.
  18. It isn't just the clubs and isn't necessarily solved by throwing more money at it. The players/agents are also wanting better deals/clubs. That is why a lot happens late on in the window as the domino effect kicks in and players can assess their options.
  19. A Championship club signing a wide player with 6 Bundesliga goals in 25 games last season isn't underwhelming. We aren't in the Premier League, so such a player isn't underwhelming any more.
  20. Is that a new competition request for PL2, or something Saints have chosen to do themselves?
  21. Post match press conference...
