Contract expires in 2027

Why?
-
Mon aéroglisseur est plein d'anguilles. FC Nantes looking to finalise a deal for Bella-Kotchap on loan with an option to buy but face strong competition.
-
Apart from the numerous players we've signed for more than that! 😉
-
We have a significantly bigger wage budget, significantly bigger income and a better squad.
-
Nope

This started with him trying to correct me. Not the reverse.
-
He was attempting the correction. So why didn't you say that to him?

'Less' has idiomatic football usage

No, it was talking about numbers of goals so is 'less'. https://www.oxfordreference.com/display/10.1093/acref/9780199661350.001.0001/acref-9780199661350-e-2054

Amazing lack of self awareness in that post I can only see because it was quoted above. Pot and kettle come to mind.
-
2023/24 saw us score only 2 less than 1st place Leicester. It was the other end where the issues stopping us get into the automatic spots were, not goalscoring.
-
We'll be getting a keeper regardless of player sales. Still has stated he wants another so Moody can play for the u21s.
-
Yes, in the Championship, no in the Premier League. I wouldn't rule out that second one turning to a yes at some point.
-
He didn’t have a good Premier League season, but he has been a key player in two teams promoted from the Championship. He looked very rusty vs Ipswich... but he missed most of pre-season and didn't play any friendlies.
-
Wouldn't actually seeing any players that are signed play a decent sample of games make more sense than just waiting until the end of the window?
-
Before doing this... wouldn't it be sensible to wait until at the very least the end of the window? Even more sensibly, until we've seen any new players play a decent sample of games.
-
It isn't just the clubs and isn't necessarily solved by throwing more money at it. The players/agents are also wanting better deals/clubs. That is why a lot happens late on in the window as the domino effect kicks in and players can assess their options.
-
A Championship club signing a wide player with 6 Bundesliga goals in 25 games last season isn't underwhelming. We aren't in the Premier League, so such a player isn't underwhelming any more.
-
Is that a new competition request for PL2, or something Saints have chosen to do themselves?

Post match press conference...
