Diallo's pace and dribbling ability better suits him to right back than Ward-Prowse. Allows us to keep Ward-Prowse in his best position.

It wasn't going badly with Romeu and Ward-Prowse as a pairing.

McQueen's injury was over 2 years ago. That is far longer than most knee injuries. If he does return to training it will be a long time before he is match fit. More likely he'll be released when his contract ends.

Not talking is hardly terrible. Lots of owners good or bad don't talk to the fanbase. Owners talking to the fanbase doesn't really achieve anything of note. In any case Martin Semmens is doing a good job communicating to the fanbase. Since his ownership started we have been on an upward trajectory. 17th, 16th and 11th. That is not 'terribly run'. He has allowed/facilitated the management of the club with Semmens, Crocker and Hasenhuttl in the 3 key positions. I admit it would be nice if we had an owner who invested. Hopefully we will soon. I'd like a new owner, but we could have far worse than Gao.

Gao is far from a bad owner. Sure it would be nice if he actually invested money in the club. But he doesn't appear to have done anything significantly wrong. We are currently improving year on year with the management structures put in place under his ownership.

I did not say that. You have twisted my words. I said a team of our backup players were good enough to beat a bottom half League one team in a one off cup game... and they proved that vs Shrewsbury. I did not say all our young players were significantly better that League One standard.

Bertrand is back to play left back, one of Valery, Ward-Prowse or Diallo will play right back tomorrow. Diallo offers cover for left back if needed tomorrow. It is likely to only be for one game until a loan signing is made before the transfer deadline next week.

Is Valery really a good fit as a fullback? I'd prefer to take the lid off and put Diallo in the box!

It only becomes strange if the club doesn't sign a new fullback. It isn't currently strange as the window is still open.

If Romeu is ready to start then Diallo may move to right back. Hasenhuttl said he is looking for another solution at right back and has already shown he us willing to use Diallo at full back. “Kyle still needs a little bit of time. I don’t know how long, but he will not be available for this game on the weekend, and therefore we have to find another solution for the right side.”
