  1. Surprised you didn't put that game into the context we were in at the time. Saints sacked an extremely popular manager before that game and the fanbase wasn't exactly enthused by the situation. It was also 28,359 not 28,000 and with only 2,483 Everton fans there were many empty seats in the away end.
  2. Yes, it will affect Liverpool as he will effectively get a red card for it. Liverpool have already apparently said they don't want to go into Europe this way and it all won't matter anyway if England don't make the top 3 in Europe.
  3. The last 5 games in a row have sold out (Stoke will be the 6th) and we are averaging close to 31k.
  4. A clue from earlier in the season...
  5. They probably didn't take you seriously.
  6. But as the table currently stands it has not taken them above. You are all talking about if in the future a team gets a further point then they go above team A. What if my table was after 38 games? Team B would be down.
  7. What about as I listed - Nottingham Forest in 2009? 2009 is more recent than 2004 isn't it?
  8. 2013 home to Stoke City 2012 home to Coventry City 2011 home to Walsall 2010 home to Southend United 2009 away at Nottingham Forest
  9. You'll have to go in hospitality.
  10. I thought some people said "if people want tickets for a Saints game next season in the Premier League they will get them". That theory doesn't really stand up if demand outstrips supply.
  11. Websites crashing, phones down, camping overnight. Its on days like this I'm glad I have a season ticket.
  12. If goal difference was "worth a point", then team B would be above team A. 17th - Team A - 39 points Goal difference -15 ...................... 18th - Team B - 38 points Goal difference -10 But they aren't. Fin
  13. How hard did you look? If on the menu bar you click on "tickets" and then "ticket updates" you get... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/tickets/ticket-updates/ If you then click on the West Brom game you get this... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/tickets-saints-vs-west-brom-737856.aspx
  14. Harsh on Brighton.

  17. If Saints win on Saturday, 8th place is only 3 points away...
  18. What win?
  19. hmm... Playing 2 Champions League qualifying games vs Braga and 7 SPL games for Celtic. I don't think he played in the Champions League games for FC Copenhagen. The SPL bar the Old firm is lower Championship/upper League One level.
  20. - Aarron Martin is 23 and will turn 24 in September. The club progressed too quickly for him and he will leave as he will never be Premier League quality. - 19 year old Jack Stephens signed a new 4 year deal only two weeks ago!!! He is progressing well, playing for England at youth level and is a far better player than Martin. I certainly wouldn't write him off, he has a bright future imo.
  21. Fonte isn't in on the list.
  22. As I said, how would Saints recoup that £3.5m fee at the moment given he hasn't played much? We'd be better off keeping him and see how he develops in the coming years. He is young at 22 and from what I've seen of him he looks to have potential. I'm certainly not going to write him off (yet). The other players on the list I can understand leaving as they are relics of successive promotions and the club progressed too quickly for them and we need a better quality now. He was even used in the last game, so is still in Pochettino's thoughts.
  23. See post #29
  24. Not really. If Cortese decides to invest £3.5m on a 22 year old international, I think he will give him more than a year to show his worth. Given his lack of game time so far we would struggle to recoup that fee and would be better of keeping him to see how he develops.
