But what does that actually mean in practice? I appreciate you telling us, but it is still very vague.

It is a skill to score "sitters", you have to be in the right place at the right time. The actual finish maybe easy, but you have to be in the position to finish it in the first place.

Hard to monitor every Wiki page 24/7.

Can you elaborate on what he means by that?

And not making a tackle or interception that a better defender would have, is a form of a defensive error.

Because Wikipedia can be edited by anyone in the world?

Yep, same again. I don't see why you find the idea so surprising. Why do you think teams with better defenders concede fewer goals?

Yes.

The majority of goals are scored due to poor defending. Highlights of a striker's youtube "best bits" are unlikely to show top class defending.

Guess they are about an hour and a half each?

Shaw is bigger built than Bale at the same age, I saw him outmuscle numerous players last season. He is also extremely quick.

And another one... Josh Sims. ‏@J_sims78 7m Just been offered my professional contract at @SouthamptonFC so happy! #saintsfc

He could easily move further up the pitch like Gareth Bale did. He was used as a winger whilst in Saints youth teams on occasions and Pochettino gives Shaw and Clyne a lot of freedom to play very high up the pitch.

Jake Flannigan has been offered a pro deal aswell. Jake Flannigan ‏@JakeFlannigan04 39s Absolutely over the moon and proud to have been offered my first professional contract @SouthamptonFC ! so happy! #sainstfc

The Sun claims Luke Shaw's new contract will be £25,000 p/w when he signs the 5 year deal on his 18th birthday next week. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4999690/Luke-Shaw-to-snub-giants-and-sign-new-Southampton-deal.html

Swansea and Wigan are in Europe next season, and 4th tier Bradford were 1 win away from Europe.

Pochettino didn't list the players, Simon Peach asked him about Hammond, Sharp, De Ridder, Chaplow, Tadanari Lee and Pochettino merely confirmed they weren't in his plans. Had the question included Jonathan Forte, Lee Barnard and Aaron Martin then I think he would have said the same of them. The club has moved too quickly for a lot of players.

I'll do it in four... - Hammond, Sharp, De Ridder, Chaplow, Tadanari Lee - surplus to requirements - Banega, Damião, Wanyama on Pochettino's wanted list - Pochettino wants 2 or 3 more players - Team doing two training sessions per day, one at 9am one at 5pm

I very much doubt whoever is behind "Luke Shaw Fans Twitter account" knows. That Tweet is probably based on Pochettino confirming yesterday that Hammond isn't in his plans.

He isn't, that is a Luke Shaw fan tribute account on Twitter.

Their CEO Mark Catlin said today it was around 8,200. They harp on about how magnificent that is, but they are now owned by the fans, a new dawn for the club free from the owners they complained about and have very cheap prices - so 8,200 even in League 2 for a club that claims to be bigger than us isn't impressive. With Saints on -10 points in League 1 we had significantly more than 8,200 season icket holders and average nearly 21,000.

I'd say it's more likely to be Lovren plus another.

This would be nice... Artur Boruc Nathaniel Clyne Dejan Lovren Vegard Forren Luke Shaw Victor Wanyama Morgan Schneiderlin Gaston Ramirez Ever Banega Jay Rodriguez Leandro Damião But its a squad game, so players like Lambert, Lallana, Puncheon, Cork, Yoshida etc will all play a part.
