We had similar reactions and threads after Pardew was sacked after beating Bristol Rovers away 4-0. I think people are now happy with Cortese's decision aren't they? Educated guess given Cortese was a driving force in getting Liebherr to invest. The only way I think Cortese will leave is if the club is sold.

If Cortese goes, so will the financial backing of the Liebherr estate. People were like this when Pardew went, Cortese was shown to have made a good decision picking Adkins for the job of getting the club from League One to the Premier League. He has now made his next "big call", seemingly because he wants the club to go up to yet another level.
