That doesn't even work as a trolling attempt, his loan finishes at the end of the Football League season. No need to "recall him". He'll be sold anyway.

Step-by-step guide to survival before kick off on May 19th
Matthew Le God replied to SaintBobby's topic in The Saints
Well if you use the table for a negative slant, why not the positive slant? As a newly promoted side with 2 games left Saints are only 2 points away from 11th (and play that team at home on last day of the season) and only 4 points away from 9th. As things stand tonight, Saints are as close to 9th as they are 18th in terms of points. It is, but not for the reasons you gave. -
Too right! Only an extreme pessimist would think otherwise.
-
As we are only 2 points away from 11th and play that team at home on the last day. Yes.
-
We could be safe before the Stoke game kicks off even if we lose or draw with Sunderland.
-
Danny Rose is also out of their final game away at Tottenham as he can't play against his parent club. If we draw on Saturday I can't see them overtaking us.
-
Just so you don't miss it... we are playing Sunderland next Sunday afternoon, not next Saturday.

He did say the line the Mirror used, but it was many weeks ago and he was only answering a question posed to him about that subject. To use it as a stick to beat him with when a newspaper weeks later uses it to hash together a story about a player like ART has is bizarre.
-
Did Pochettino write that article? No, it is using a quote of his answer to a question he was asked many weeks ago about the transfer market in Spain. You are using some very bizarre logic.

With 2 games left, we are only 4 points away from 9th. That isn't a huge amount Turkish, especially as we had a dreadful start to the season with 8 defeats, 1 draw, 1 win in the opening 10 games. Next season we won't need to adapt to the Premier League in the opening 10 games, that has already happened.

Why have you made this up?

Miss Hampshire 2013 Alice Stephanie Lazar, 20, from London Alice is currently studying performing arts. She is always keeping herself fit and is interested in the history of buildings. She entered because there is no Miss Surrey competition this year. .............. How odd.

Simple concepts still confusing Turkish.

Obligatory Youtube video...

The quote they use from Pochettino is very old.

Those accounts are for 2011/12, the loan was taken out in September 2012.

Did you have difficulty with reading comprehension as a child?

That doesn't make it unrealistic. Even with 3 poor results in a row we are still only 4 points away from 10th. We probably won't finish in the top 10 now, but it wasn't unreasonable to think it was "realistic" until relatively recently. The league table is extremely close.

No evidence of it being £17m either, Pompey fans are simply plucking numbers out of the air. No-one on any Saints or Pompey message-board knows the size or purpose of the loan.

You continue to contradict yourself, you told me it is impossible to predict the outcome of games and then at the same time continue to say we'll get relegated on X points. You can't back up such claims without looking at what results would be needed for Saints to go down on 39, 40, 41, 42, 43 or 45 points. We are at 40/1 to go down for a reason, that reason is that the results required are very unlikely to happen given the respective fixture lists and some teams playing Champions League teams and also each other, both teams can't win a game so points will be dropped.

Dearest Dalek2003, Not just one - but ALL these things need to happen. It is NOT just Wigan. Which is why it is unlikely... For Saints to go down on 39 points... Norwich would need to get 2 points from West Brom (home) and Man City (away) AND Wigan would need to get 5 points from Swansea (home), Arsenal (away), Villa (home) AND Newcastle would need to get 2 points from QPR (away), Arsenal (home) For Saints to go down on 40 points... Norwich would need to get 3 points from West Brom (home) and Man City (away) AND Wigan would need to get 6 points from Swansea (home), Arsenal (away), Villa (home) AND Newcastle would need to get 3 points from QPR (away), Arsenal (home) AND Villa would need to get 1 point (bar a huge goal difference swing) from Chelsea (home), Wigan (away) AND Fulham would need to get 1 point or have a better goal difference from Liverpool (home), Swansea (away) AND Stoke would need to get 1 point or have a better goal difference from Tottenham (home), Saints (away)

The original story at the beginning of this thread was from the Daily Express.
