  1. How do you know they haven"t?
  2. Would you like to be my vice chairman?
  3. The pitch a few minutes ago...
  4. I dread to think what this forum will be like if I get back from the game and we've lost!
  5. Bemusing why Sky Sports News and the BBC think SISA represent the views of Saints fans. SISA number about 10 people, elect a chairman etc for what exactly? Their chairman can barely string a coherent sentence together, let alone get his facts right.
  6. Ok, lets say you were the Saints chairman and I was a Saints legend. As we all know you don't like me, if I was on Sky's "Soccer Saturday" every weekend slagging you off, would you honestly leave the "Matthew Le God lounge" titled as it is? I find that hard to believe. Technically I don't think anyone can use someone else's season ticket, the club aren't actually doing anything wrong not allowing into the stadium someone using Le Tissier's if it isn't him. What they are doing is enforcing the rules for him and not others, but given the one-way public slanging match Le Tissier is having with Cortese I don't blame him for not doing Le Tissier and his mates any favours.
  7. If someone was slagging you off in public using the press would you be doing them favours in return?
  8. He uses every opportunity he can on Soccer Saturday to slag Cortese off. A I said, it is a one-way slagging match that Le Tissier has maintained in public on various media outlets for a very long time.
  9. I admire him as a player (hence my username) but Le Tiss claims Cortese has ego problem, yet continues weekly one-way slanging match via TV & papers.
  10. Norwegian season finished in November, so doubt he is match fit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_Norwegian_Premier_League Danny Seaborne is on loan at Bournemouth, so if Forren isn't in the squad it will be Aaron Martin on the bench.
  11. Currently... - Sunny blue skies in Southampton - temperatures hovering around 0c to -1c - no heavy snow since Friday and no snow currently forecast for today - pitch is under cover and heating system and is fine - areas immediately surrounding the stadium cleared of snow No need to worry Colin, the game will be on.
  12. Yes... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estadi_Ol%C3%ADmpic_Llu%C3%ADs_Companys
  13. The same as it is every week for Monday night football... Gary Neville and Saints fan Ed Chamberlain.
  14. Odds which are influenced by random punters placing bets.
  15. I don't know, guess it might be something like Baddiel & Skinner's Fantasy Football or Soccer AM.
  16. Apart from Hoddle, I don't remember any other Saints managers being high profile enough to have a TV show satirise them! The assistant manager in the movie Mike Bassett: England manager was based on Lawrie McMenemy. Can any Spanish speakers translate the jist of the jokes in this video please.
  17. You ignored my first sentence, take the two statements as a whole.
  18. Going to be like that given Devon/Cornwall's geography, you won't get much snow.
  19. How many newly promoted clubs have the 7th largest net spend in the whole of European football in the summer after promotion? Also, in the last two seasons Newcastle 12th, West Brom 11th and Norwich 12th, Swansea 11th all had good mid table seasons in first season after promotion.
  20. It won't be that bad, light snow forecast in the build up to kickoff and then stopping around kickoff time. Wrap up warm and you'll be fine.
  21. I doubt that, I think he probably thought Saints should be in mid table. The bottom half of the Premier League really isn't anything special.
  22. tbf new manager syndrome normally comes because a manager has been sacked because the team is doing poorly and a new manager comes in to lift spirits. Saints have been doing well since the beginning of November and Adkins was popular, so the change possibly does more harm than good. Hopefully not, but impossible to tell at this point.
  23. Yes, it would be alot easier. But you'd never be able to compete particularly well as you'd struggle to attract players to play in the Swiss league. You'd also have to buy an already large Swiss side as the smaller ones simply wouldn't have the growth potential.
  24. As I said in post #66 A Swiss 4th division club can only go so far. Saints had the fanbase, infrastructure and opportunity to play in the world's most high profile league. As I've already stated, I think Saints were a very rich man in his 60's play thing. Where is the fun in owning a lower league Swiss side with limited opportunity for growth to the highest level?
