This is where football should follow rugby's lead with penalty tries. A deliberate handball that stops a goal like tonight shouldn't be a penalty, it should be a "penalty goal" and a red card.

Reading did have an initial 1,700 allocation but have been given 700 more tickets and now have an allocation of 2,453. http://www.readingfc.co.uk/tickets/away-games/ Poor that they can't sell out the 3,100 seater away end for a relatively local, important, Premier League game.

Adkins does mention Boruc in that interview. You can also see him in training videos and he was involved in a training session on the St Mary's pitch with De Ridder and other unused players after the Newcastle game on Sunday.

http://audioboo.fm/boos/1084591-saintsfc-boss-nigel-adkins-talks-to-krsitemple-after-1-1-draw-with-norwich But better to watch it on Saints Player to see his facial expressions when asked about it. I think we'll see a change on Saturday.

Nigel doesn't sound happy with him in his post match interview.
-
Played poorly in the opening games of the season.
-
Luke Shaw, by some distance!
-
Time for Artur Boruc to play! Paulo Gazzaniga should have been loaned to a Championship team in the loan window for experience rather than keep costing us in the Premier League.

The only change from Sunday is Reeves for Ward-Prowse on the bench.

Adam Blackmore @bigadamsport Early indications are that Rickie Lambert is fit for #saintsfc - maybe an unchanged side for 4th game in a row

Norwich's defence hit with Michael Turner and John Ruddy out. Ruddy is out for next 3 months which is a big blow for them... https://twitter.com/Johnruddy86/status/273852935992131585

The last time we played them was a 2-0 win at Carrow Road in 2010 in League One. Lee Barnard getting both goals.

- If Wigan lose by any score at home to Man City, any Saints win puts them at the very least 15th. - If Wigan lose by any score at home to Man City + Newcastle lose away at Stoke City then Saints will be 14th as long as there is a 4 goal swing in goal difference between Saints and Newcastle.

Ruddy - Yes Bassong and Turner - debatable as after a poor start Fonte and Yoshida are starting to look solid now and forming a good understanding as a centre back pair Garrido - over Luke Shaw? Really? I wouldn't. Clyne would clearly get into their team at right back. As for Norwich's midfield and strikeforce, I'd have Saint's front six of Cork, Schneiderlin, Ramirez, Puncheon, Lallana and Lambert over theirs. Norwich fans won't like it, but I'd probably only have Ruddy from their team in our starting XI.

I can't read and I can't write but that don't really matter, Joe comes from Motherwell, And he can eat my tax bill
-
I agree with this, plus... 5) Saints play Sunderland at St Mary's soon, so a good chance to make back those three points.

Best Saints Sponsor/Commercial Partner?
Matthew Le God replied to Saint Charlie's topic in The Saints
Two current partners, one whose product I have, one I don't... -
Development squad members Dan Thompson and George Colson have joined Blue Square Bet South side Dorchester on loan for a month. Yet more players they could be using in their first team, loaned out so Pompey can bring in better players!

tbf he clearly did something right if a Championship club now want to sign him.

Liquidation is what any other company that has failed three times and racked up £150+ million of debt (including huge figures to the taxman) would have had ages ago, so it is fully deserved. It would also wipe out the club's history and any "phoenix club" can have no legitimate claim to the league and cup wins, as it would be a completely different entity.
