  1. Rubbish! Stop peddling this myth!!! - Exeter City fans trust own the club and have over 4,000 paying members. http://www.ecfcst.org.uk/frequently-asked-questions/ - Portsmouth fans trust have a mere 1,670 "pledges" (yet to be followed up) according to the bid document the council recieved. Exeter City >>>>> Pompey Daft how Pompey fans think their fans trust is breaking new ground in an unprecedented move on a huge scale. A club like Exeter City that Pompey fans would probably deem "tinpot", has not only beaten them to fan ownership but also vastly outnumber them in terms of numbers and put Pompey's fanbase to shame. What does that say about "a club the size of Portsmouth"? You should all stop deluding yourselves about how groundbreaking, unique or impressive the trust's bid is! It is riddled with fundamental flaws that make it unworkable in the short, medium and long term. (the bold, large text is for any lurking Pompey fans from Pompey Online and our resident skates including PES )
  2. As the screenshot shows, they are for cheats that you can't even do in FM12. Just don't buy them and there isn't a problem. I would never cheat in FM as it spoils the fun/challenge, let alone pay to cheat - but some people will.
  3. But as Adkins has never played Fonte in midfield, it would be a little out the blue to do it away at Arsenal wouldn't it?
  4. That would be bizarre, why do you think that?
  5. Yes, but they are for "cheat" type things as you can see on that screen.
  6. For those wondering why the match AI didn't change for FM12 from FM11, it is because they have completely re-written it for FM13 and it has taken more than the development cycle of one edition of FM to code. This has also allowed them to significantly upgrade the match animations this year.
  7. You couldn't be more wrong!
  8. The best-selling, most realistic football management series ever made is back and will be released before Xmas. Football Manager 2013 introduces more than 900 new features & new ways to play. Check http://www.footballmanager.com from Monday for more indepth feature videos each week. Game Information Football Manager is the best-selling, most realistic football management series ever made. Football Manager 2013 celebrates 20 years of games from the people at Sports Interactive by introducing an array of new features. This year’s version allows you to take control of any club in more than 50 nations across the world and includes all of Europe’s biggest leagues as well as database of over 500,000 real-world players and staff. As well as some landmark new features in the Career Mode, there are now new ways to enjoy your Football Manager experience. NEW TO CAREER MODE… Match Engine The 3D match engine has seen huge improvements this year. Everything on the pitch looks more realistic; from the stadiums, the players’ movement, intelligence, and the way the ball moves through the air. We’ve also introduced hundreds of new animations to make the game feel more realistic and we’ve made the whole experience more televisual by introducing new camera angles and showing the kick-off and final whistle. Manager Roles Another notable difference is the significant restructure of the manager’s staff and a revamp of their roles. The most obvious is that we’ve introduced the position of Director of Football into the game for the first time, which will allow managers to pass on some of their workload, such as contract negotiations, if they choose to. In addition to this, we’ve also increased the number of specialist coaching roles within the game and given the manager greater flexibility to choose which coaches offer advice and when. The manager can also choose to complain about boardroom interference – although that particular option should probably be used sparingly. And much more… A brand new training system, improved international management, tones in press conferences & a new user interface. NEW WAYS TO PLAY… Classic and Challenge Modes Football Manager Classic is a less time-consuming way to enjoy Football Manager. The essence of the game is exactly the same – the manager still takes charge of a squad of players and competes at whatever level he or she chooses – but they will now find that a number of their responsibilities have either been taken over by their support staff or have disappeared completely. For example, while the player still takes charge of training in FMC, this is carried out at a 'full team' level only – there's no individual player training. And when it gets to matches themselves, there are no team talks or opposition reports... you just go straight to a game using the same 3D match engine as Career Mode. The games are played out in a quicker 'highlights only' fashion, but you can even speed this up by going straight to ‘Instant Result’. Players who opt for Football Manager Classic will also find that they have a couple of further options in terms of how they play the game; they can either play a full open-ended ‘Career’ or they can choose to play in the new ‘Challenge’ mode. In Challenge mode they’ll find themselves in a particular situation which will test their management skills over a shorter game time – usually half a season. Can you win a trophy with a team consisting almost entirely of kids? Or could you guide your club to safety despite being bottom of the table at Xmas? We first introduced Challenge Mode in Football Manager Handheld 2012 and it proved to be so popular that we’ve decided to include it in FMC too. The game will come with four free-to-play challenges, each of which feeds in to a global leaderboard. Network Play The brand new Network Play is fully integrated with Steam’s network functionality which means that players should be able to set up and enjoy games against their friends far more easily than before. The Network Mode also allows people to set-up special one-off leagues and cups and to import their team from their career mode, so you can now end any debate about whose FM team is better. The deeper integration with Steam will also allow us to manage worldwide leaderboards, so, for the first time you’ll really know how good a manager you are. Plus over 900 other new features!
  9. I'm led to believe Nottingham Forest are paying 75% of Sharp's wages. That is a lot of money we are saving for a player that probably wouldn't be in the matchday squad of 18 that often.
  10. Apply the same logic to the people that post claims here... http://www.southamptonrumours.co.uk/ You also glossed over my first sentence in post #12.
  11. We have gone from League One in 2010 to the Premier League in 2012. What ever the management structure is, it appears to be working extremely well. You also don't have any solid evidence for points 2) or 3).
  12. What makes you so certain Mayuka or Tadanari Lee can't perform that role? What they both have (that Sharp doesn't) is pace - a valuable asset in the Premier League.
  13. You make no mention of the signing a goalkeeper, centre back and right back that Saints signed this summer. I'd also like to know where you see Billy Sharp fitting into the 433 system or on a 7 man bench when we also have Lambert, Mayuka, Rodriguez, Puncheon, Lallana, Guly Do Prado, Tadanari Lee, Ramirez and De Ridder. Some of them are going to be left out, Sharp simply wouldn't get much game time at Saints if he was still here.
  14. All from open play as well.
  15. tbf to them a seven figure sum could be anything from £1,000,000 to £9,999,999 and they have put an actual figure on it that they believe it to be.
  16. Odd they are running that story on 5th September, Sharp made those comments on 1st September in a post match interview after Forest vs Charlton. So not exactly "news".
  17. Maybe Crawley wanted to see him play before making such a commitment.
  18. Because his loan ends in November and it allows us to play him if needed between his return and January. We had space in the 25 man list so there is little reason not to include him just in case he is needed.
