  1. 6th in the Championship last season was Forest with 75 points. For Saints to get the 31 points to add to the 44 points already from the remaining 24 games it would need something like... Play 24 Win 8 Draw 7 Lose 7 As you say, it would need a massive downturn in form compared to the first 22 games of the season to not finish in the playoffs at the very least. Basically that is mid table form for the remainder of the season.
  2. They would be underwhelming, as I don't know who three of them are. Do you?
  3. 24 games left 13 wins 6 draws 5 defeats Would see Saints on 89 points, which has been enough to win the league for the average season over the last 5 years.
  4. It took 21 days from Southampton Leisure holdings going into administration on the 2nd April 2009 to the Football League confirming a points deduction for the football club on the 23rd April 2009. So far it has only been 20 days since CSI went into administration. So something could be imminent perhaps...?
  5. Genetically speaking there is no such thing as "race". Everyone has a huge mixture of ancestors genes from all around the globe, all tracing back to the same common ancestors in Africa. It is impossible to draw a line where one so called "racial group" ends and another starts. With no "races" there can't really be racial abuse. Doesn't stop some people though, sadly.
  6. He has already said he is retiring at the end of the season.
  7. Surely they will be hit with more than 10 point for a second insolvency event so soon after the last? They have been using players this season they shouldn't have had. Norris, Varney, Huseklepp, Benjani, Futacs all signed in the summer for a large amount of cash that could have been used to pay off debts, play wages for their existing players whilst they use their youth team in first team matches. David Lampitt even had the cheek to make a statement on their website saying they were the second highest net spenders in the transfer market this summer in the Championship.
  8. Well it was nearly "done" in the summer, a fee was agreed. Adkins confirmed this in an interview.
  9. I think a rendition of "I'm forever blowing bubble (games)" is required!
  10. It will definitely be on iPlayer later. All previous Championship games that the BBC have shown were put on iPlayer soon afterwards.
  11. The thread starter is in Belgium. iPlayer only works in the UK. Dune's link should work.
  12. Andrew Andronikou, joint administrator of CIS said: “Hopefully, next week we will have sold one of the companies owned by CSI to allow us to invest some capital into the club." http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Portsmouth-face-administration-and-points-deduction-again-article844184.html
  13. Why do you keep peddling this? Yes, the other companies weren't huge, but Saints were not Southampton Leisure Holdings only asset. There were other companies not linked to football. Many of the CSI companies have been created suspiciously recently and/or are tiny with negligible incomes.
  14. The full draw... Ties must be played by Saturday 21 January 2012. 1 Bolton Wanderers v Southampton 2 Charlton Athletic v Leicester City 3 Cardiff City v Stevenage or Tottenham Hotspur 4 Queens Park Rangers v Everton 5 Reading v West Bromwich Albion 6 Stoke City v Brentford 7 Burnley v Ipswich Town 8 Blackburn Rovers v Bristol Rovers or Coventry City 9 Swindon Town v Manchester City 10 Nottingham Forest v Wigan Athletic 11 Norwich City v Chelsea 12 Portsmouth v Swansea City 13 Manchester United v Derby County 14 Newcastle United v Watford 15 West Ham United v Brighton & Hove Albion 16 Peterborough United v Fulham
  15. Are you suggesting the Mail doesn't deserve criticism? In any case that story states this... There is quite a leap between sending a scout to watch a match and "significant steps towards landing" him in a deal.
  16. Could have been a lot worse. Bolton aren't exactly renowned for their youth system and are bottom of their academy league this season.
  17. Draw was done today for the next round. Saints are away to Bolton Wanderers in the 4th round.
  18. The Luton Town minus 30 point season isn't really that similar at all... - 10-point deduction for financial irregularities in regard to its dealings with agents - 20-point additional penalty related to the club's inability to agree a Company Voluntary Agreement (CVA) to exit administration, with the Football League pointing out that it was the third time in 10 years that Luton have been in such a position. ...yet http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/luton_town/7500435.stm
  19. Luke Shaw committed to a 3 year professional contract with Saints along with James Ward Prowse, Jake Sinclair, Jordan Turnbull, Calum Chambers and Harrison Reed in December 2010... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2228492,00.html If Arsenal really want him soon they will have to spend big.
  20. Strange logic. Three bottom half of the Championship sides linked to him, so Saints at the top of the league should?
  21. Patch 12.1.0 is now out, Steam should automatically update your game.
  22. That article is from June 2010 when Andronikou was the administrator for the football club.
  23. They were both wearing jackets with the Cardiff badge on, speaking with Welsh accents, making large amounts of notes and had lots of paperwork with them. I'm no policeman, but the clues started to stack up!
  24. He is too old to play for the under 18's.
  25. You could make a good case for a large number of them. Sinclair, Stephens, Shaw, Ward-Prowse, Moore and Reed in particular, along with a number of others.
