Surely they will be hit with more than 10 point for a second insolvency event so soon after the last? They have been using players this season they shouldn't have had. Norris, Varney, Huseklepp, Benjani, Futacs all signed in the summer for a large amount of cash that could have been used to pay off debts, play wages for their existing players whilst they use their youth team in first team matches. David Lampitt even had the cheek to make a statement on their website saying they were the second highest net spenders in the transfer market this summer in the Championship.

The official unofficial January transfer targets thread..
Matthew Le God replied to SB's topic in The Saints
Well it was nearly "done" in the summer, a fee was agreed. Adkins confirmed this in an interview. -
I think a rendition of "I'm forever blowing bubble (games)" is required!

It will definitely be on iPlayer later. All previous Championship games that the BBC have shown were put on iPlayer soon afterwards.

The thread starter is in Belgium. iPlayer only works in the UK. Dune's link should work.

Andrew Andronikou, joint administrator of CIS said: “Hopefully, next week we will have sold one of the companies owned by CSI to allow us to invest some capital into the club." http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Portsmouth-face-administration-and-points-deduction-again-article844184.html

Why do you keep peddling this? Yes, the other companies weren't huge, but Saints were not Southampton Leisure Holdings only asset. There were other companies not linked to football. Many of the CSI companies have been created suspiciously recently and/or are tiny with negligible incomes.

Are you suggesting the Mail doesn't deserve criticism? In any case that story states this... There is quite a leap between sending a scout to watch a match and "significant steps towards landing" him in a deal.

The Luton Town minus 30 point season isn't really that similar at all... - 10-point deduction for financial irregularities in regard to its dealings with agents - 20-point additional penalty related to the club's inability to agree a Company Voluntary Agreement (CVA) to exit administration, with the Football League pointing out that it was the third time in 10 years that Luton have been in such a position. ...yet http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/luton_town/7500435.stm

Luke Shaw committed to a 3 year professional contract with Saints along with James Ward Prowse, Jake Sinclair, Jordan Turnbull, Calum Chambers and Harrison Reed in December 2010... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2228492,00.html If Arsenal really want him soon they will have to spend big.

Strange logic. Three bottom half of the Championship sides linked to him, so Saints at the top of the league should? -
Football Manager 2012 - updates thread

Patch 12.1.0 is now out, Steam should automatically update your game. -
That article is from June 2010 when Andronikou was the administrator for the football club.

Tonight's game didn't help it...

Has many of the same qualities as his brother. He looks like he has a chance to be a decent Premier League player but always hard to accurately predict at that age. Steve Mowthorpe - Didn't have a lot to do as you might expect in a 7-0 win. Made a few good saves with good handling on a very slippery surface. Luke Shaw (Conor O'Sullivan 64) - Shaw posed an attacking threat from left back. Lots of width, pace and good technique. O'Sullivan did okay but didn't really shine. Jack Stephens - Right footed centre back signed from Plymouth for £150k. Assured on the ball and made a few great runs from the back with the ball. Jordan Turnbull - Left footed centre back, looked assured and comfortable on the ball. Scored from a corner. Matt Young © (Fraser Colmer 73) A steady performance from the captain. Marshalled the team/defence well. Sam McQueen - Left winger posed a threat all game, fullbacks found it hard to cope. Corby Moore (Dominic Gape 73) - Along with Ward-Prowse Moore dominated the centre of the pitch, both look very good players. Gape didn't have a lot of time but did okay. James Ward-Prowse - See above, plus his goal from distance was superb. Calum Chambers - Right winger posed a threat all game, fullbacks found it hard to cope. Took his goal well. Joe Curtis - Played behind Sinclair and dropped deep often to get the ball, creative player that covers a lot of ground. His goal was a little lucky as the keeper made a mess of it. Jake Sinclair - Pacey small striker, always a threat when in behind the defence and took his goals well. Sometimes swapped with Curtis and the wingers. Yes. for the January update.

Just got back, had to walk so got soaked. What an amazing performance that was! All those that didn't go missed a great game. Quality all throughout the side against a Sheffield United side that were finalists in this competition last season. Joe Curtis playing as a second striker was everywhere, Jake Sinclair with his pace caused panic all through the game, James Ward-Prowse and Corby Moore controlled the midfield and Ward-Prowse's goal was superb. I could list them all really. Cortese's dream of 8 academy players in the first team XI in the Premier League may not be as unbelievable as it seems...!

Or another way of looking at it would be a day less to recover from the Palace game and prepare the Bristol City game.
