Man City brought Mills, he was unlikely to stay.

Turkish beat me by seconds.

I though he looked very impressive last night and in the first leg. As he has done all season! He was the Swansea fan's player of the year. A team that came 3rd in the League above us!
-
He hated playing second fiddle to an extremely talented 17 year old.

West Brom announced plans to increase capacity yesterday "regardless of divisional status". The proposed Hawthorns... Add them to the list of Wolves, Birmingham, West Ham and Hull that are all planning to do the same. The new Molineux (work starts this summer regardless of whether they are relegated or not)... Saints already know they can get 30k+ crowds, no need to wait around to see if we do in the Premier League. May as well start the long process of planning applications now.
-
Why is it a surprise Rangers would want him? The Scottish Premier League is poor and Puncheon has shown he can do a reasonable job in the English Premier League (3 goals in 5 starts for a relegation threatened side). In any case, at the moment it just looks like agent talk as shown in that Sky article.
-
He is leaving regardless of Peterborough going up or not according to people at the club.

Their current support is much bigger than ours... - we had a 22k average in the 3rd tier - they had a 36k average in the 1st tier Also just because their support can't get a ticket for White Hart Lane, that doesn't mean they don't spend money. Shirt sales and other merchandising would be huge compared to Saints. Spurs are a large London clubs with fans all over the country and worldwide, Saints are a provincial team with fans largely from the city itself and the surrounding region (Hampshire/Dorset etc). They want a 55k to 60k stadium, and they have the fans to fill it every week if it were to be built tomorrow. Saints would only ever be 40k to 50k in the best possible circumstances.
-
What do you mean? Their surplus support isn't going anywhere, they can't get a ticket and there is a huge waiting list for season tickets. Hence why they want a new larger stadium. It is a bit like saying Saints in the year 2000 only had 15k fans, give them a stadium twice the size a year later and they showed the fanbase could fill it. The extra fans for Saints weren't going elsewhere before St Mary's, St Mary's just meant the club could fit more in.

How can Spurs get more than 36k in a 36k capacity stadium?

I need to buy a new one of these...(maybe a 4th duck aswell) My inspiration... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHDCSIJiWCM

I wasn't the one that mentioned the Nazi's. You did in post #96! All I said was "fascist". So yes, on this matter I do know more, because you have misread what I said and assumed I was talking about the Nazi's when I made no such comment.
-
In his autobiography he praised Mussolini as "basically a very principled, ethical individual" who was "deeply misunderstood". He has also said "I am a fascist, not a racist."... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/1506262/Im-a-fascist-not-a-racist-says-Paolo-di-Canio.html Don't try to defend the indefensible.
-
Strange that some West Ham fans think a man like Di Canio that publicly admitted to being a fascist would be a good manager for the club. Would that bring unity and togetherness in the dressing-room? Would be quite a change in direction for the club after having Avram Grant as manager!
-
Which is why Tottenham Hotspur and Leyton Orient are taking them to a judicial review.
-
Did we miss a trick not doing one of these for Pompey? It may seem petty on the face of it but I've got to admit it is a little funny. I suppose there is still ample opportunity in the coming months as this thread is a long way from ending. What would you put on a banner? The timing for this one was perfect, as it flew over the DW Stadium today just as Wigan equalised.

The usual list of out of work managers and former West Ham players. Chris Hughton is the current favourite... http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/west-ham-specials/next-permanent-manager Danny Dyer is 500/1 Ray Winstone is 500/1

Karen Brady gets angry with a kid (possibly her son?) at the end of this video for being too slow, even though his route was obstructed... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13406828.stm Was she desperate to get to Avram Grant as soon as possible to do her Lord Alan impression?

It's a new contract for Adkins!!
Matthew Le God replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
30th June 2014. And it is now 30th June 2015. -
You should point out to him Sam Allardyce is 56 years old!
-
I doubt he'll be given another chance at a Premier League club. He clearly isn't up to it, will be interesting to hear yet more excuses from him today like he always did at Pompey.
-
They have a lot of work to do before they will be considered a "big threat". They are £100m in debt, will likely be sacking their manager and looking for a new one, will be selling a large number of their best players and rebuilding a team from scratch in the summer.
-
Not in that colour though.
-
I'm not infallible by any means Nick! Will teach me to rely on the Wikipedia squad lists and rushing a post.

Why? Cortese said in the dinner parties and this scout has now confirmed it, that the Champions League is the aim. Thus that is the long term business model.
