Plymouth's squad is also very thin. Last match they only had 5 subs, two of which were youth team players. Before Saints play them, they have a feisty Devon derby two days earlier against Exeter. Where as Saints have the luxury of squad rotation, like swapping 3 of the back 4 in the last game through choice in order to rest them.
-
Yes we did. When Chaplow came on in the 69th minute, Saints switched to a diamond with Lallana behind the front two and Stephens sitting in front of the defence.

We gave Brighton a brass band guard of honour in 2001 after they won the league!

That is what I must have spent those two extra minutes perfecting. Baj was slack and used any old freeze frame!

Why not? He was clearly offside... Lallana wasn't on the goal line and Guly was offside. But who cares, WE WON! -
I took two minutes longer, used Baj's match video and didn't put the offside line in. I'm losing my powers!

Looks offside to me based on the video and this image when Lallana made the pass...

How many tickets sold for hartlepool and walsall?

23,529 at the Premier League match Blackburn vs Man City tonight (with thousands of away Man City fans) 24,210 at 3rd tier match Saints vs Hartlepool (with 217 Hartlepool fans) -
If it doesn't happen and Chainrai is left with the club, I doubt he will be willing to fund a new squad for next season when all the out of contract and loanees go in the summer, given that he has shown a willingness to want to sell up.

The BBC says two yellows, I wasn't watching at the time as was celebrating the penalty decision. Should have been a straight red really. -
AV voting... 1) Lallana 2) Fonte

Why? It was a clear goalscoring opportunity and he took him out from behind in the penalty area. -

Short memory? Technically, Saints earnt 83 points in 2009/10. -
Well that could also mean the League table could possibly end up like this... Brighton 93 points Southampton 92 points So if he starts throwing games, Saints will just get closer to them and makes it look a lot tighter.

Adkins said in interview after the Brighton game that Adam Lallana will definitely start today.

Are Brighton really champions yet ?
Matthew Le God replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in The Saints
I make it 8 League titles for Saints first team... Southern League Champions: 1896–97, 1897–98, 1898–99, 1900–01, 1902–03, 1903–04 Third Division South Champions: 1921–22 Football League Division 3 Champions: 1959–60 In any case, being in the top flight for 35 of the last 45 years makes it hard to win league titles. -
That is extremely defensive considering Saints are 2nd and playing a lower mid table team (who have nothing to play for) at St Mary's. Gobern isn't a wide midfield player, nor is Butterfield. Yes, it might be an idea to rest Lallana until the second half if needed, but in that case you should use N'Guessan and Forte on the wings and attack them from the start.

Really doesn't matter what Peterborough do from now on. Max points Peterborough can get is 83, Saints are already on 80 with a superior goal difference and 4 games to get those 3 points.
-
Dovey, Foot, Holder-Spooner, Nicholas, Martin, Isgrove, Hoskins, Robinson are already over 18 years old. They are all too old to play in the academy teams next season whether they have a new contract or not.

It doesn't really work as a song for Saints like it does for S****horpe/Tranmere/Hereford.
