If they want to save money then Ritchie would play in the 1st team and they wouldn't sign Liam Lawerence. SC keeps complaining about only having 3 or 4 on the bench yet they do this. They could also call up youth team players to make up the numbers on the bench. Instead they use it to play the sympathy card and with some areas of the media it seems to work for them.

Claus Lundekvam Lee Barnard This thread will end in tears and/or legal proceedings...

What strange logic you use.

They have loaned Matt Ritchie to Swindon Town today. Can't really complain about a small squad and 3 or 4 players on the bench if they do things like this.

Innocent until proven guilty?

The problem isn't just that Lambert isn't scoring. He got two yesterday. The problem is the rest of his game has been poor all season in comparison to last season. Against Bournemouth he lacked movement, his touch let him down, he mislaid a lot of passes, he lost a lot of balls in the air etc etc. A shadow of the player he was last season.

Saint's holding company was created 7 years before the Football League's insolvency rules were written. You aren't trying to exploit a loophole if the rules the loophole are in, are 7 years in the future.

The Premier League and Football League are different governing bodies and have different rules.

How can it be "double standards" when the Football League and the Premier League are two different governing bodies?

Saints actually had 9 points in the first 10 games in 2009/10 League table after 10 game = http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/LeagueTable/0,,10280~20090929,00.html 2009/10 League after 10 games.... This season they have 12 points from the first 10 games.

Happened quite a lot between 2001 and 2005.

They are off in the Kingsland as well and have been for a long time. I reckon the same will be for the Itchen and Chapel.

Lambert really is poor at the moment. It will soon be Barnard and "someone" if it continues.

For those Bournemouth fans thinking this will be the biggest attended game of the season at St Mary's... Last season 30,890 saw the Saints vs Exeter game on Boxing Day. Crowds that time of year are always bigger no matter who the game is against. This year Saints have two home games over the holiday period, on 28th December vs Huddersfield and New Years Day vs Exeter, which will both get big crowds. "If" Saints manage to put together a promotion run they will see attendances shoot up towards the end of the season. For example... The game vs Sheffield Weds on March 19th 2011 is likely to have a crowd similar to the 30,794 that saw Saints vs Leeds United in the league last season on March 13th 2010. Should there be anything resting on the last two or three home games i.e. chance of automatic promotion, winning the league, making it into the playoffs, then you will probably see sell out, 32k crowds.

Exeter was the Boxing Day game which always gets a big gate no matter who it is against. Brighton game last season was 21,932, which is a long way from a sell out!

That is terrible! You will soon see what I think of Pulis.

You used one of your three posts for that! ^
