You can't really compare Blackpool in a 16k seater stadium with Saints in a 32k seater stadium and the estate of a billionaire. Saints when in the Premier League again will be a very different proposition to Blackpool in the transfer market.

Brighton's top scorer has a mere 2 goals more than Lambert, yet to you call them struggling?. Barnard and Lambert have both shown they are more than capable of scoring over 20 (and in Lambert's case 30) goals in this league. Saints are one of the highest scoring teams this season and have the 2nd best defensive record.

I don't know the date yet, but it will be a few weeks after the window closes (possibly even March). The data update will be done relatively soon but the final the patch for FM11 needs to be made and tested with the new data. There are a few unofficial January window data updates you could use until the official one comes out.

They have however got big earning John Utaka off the wage bill, maybe they will use some of that to bring in some free transfers (if allowed to).

Can you really blame Cortese for not giving Le Tissier "freebies" when Matt has slagged him off numerous times in the press? If I were Cortese I wouldn't be giving Matt any freebies, and I like Le Tiss as you can tell by my username.

More importantly, they will probably miss any goals by showing adverts breaks instead. Or doing "arty" closeups and not keep up with the action, quickly to cut to it just after something happens at the other end of the pitch. ITV Sport production really is a shambles. Thankfully I don't have to watch it as I'm going to the game, but I may Sky+ it to watch later.

Cortese said Chamberlain won't be sold. It is hard for Cortese to say and mean that if there is a minimum fee release clause which takes it out of his hands. Thus it is unlikely that one exists.

I'd prefer Martin to play, than Seaborne.

Seaborne is terrible in the air. Mis-times jumps, poor positioning and when he does head the ball it is often aimless. Although Jaidi has the pace of an asthmatic ant with heavy shopping and the turning circle of an oil tanker, I'd much prefer him starting with Fonte against Man Utd.
