Puncheon injured with a dead leg and not playing for Millwall today.

Questions need to be asked if this happens... http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Transfer-news-West-Ham-poised-to-raid-Portsmouth-for-4m-Liam-Lawrence-article662539.html I doubt FIFA would allow it tbh if there really is interest.

Temperatures in London haven't been below freezing (day or night) for many days. Including tonight... http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/8 Frost covers would have this easily under control and I see no reason for a pitch inspection.
-
Not really... Cardiff in the 3rd tier 1999/00 average 6k Cardiff in the 4th tier 1997/98 average 3k Saints are averaging over 22k in the 3rd tier, very few teams in England/Wales would do that.

I think you are going to be bitterly disappointed. The Liebherr's bank account makes Tony Bloom look like a tramp. Brighton fans on North Stand Chat getting giddy that Liebherr's death means a lack of funding, yet the club revealed multi million pound plans for the training ground at the beginning of December. They aren't leaving or dropping funding until after the club is established back in the top half of the top flight...
-
But as soon as the club get back to the top flight it will have more season ticket holders than the Amex has seats yet again. Brighton don't even sell out a 9,000 stadium at the moment whilst top of the league. Yes the Withdean might be awful, but where are the fans? If the fanbase was really there, they would sell out the Withdean each week like Saints did (at the larger) Dell before moving to a new stadium.
-
How will he cope with this... Saints in the Premier League had more season ticket holders than the Amex Stadium has seats when finished!
-
Wow, he has even paid the £5 to continue with this beyond his 3 posts per day!
-
-
It will be 32,000 with the upper tier seats added, not 40,000. Currently 22,000.
-
No, because Saints were in the Championship whilst in admin during April and May 2009.
-
4th out of 92 on Boxing Day 2003 is more impressive than 46th out of 92 on New Year's Day 2011 tbh
-
Compare that to other attendances today... 24k Birmingham vs Arsenal in 1st tier 25k West Brom vs Man Utd in 1st tier 14k Burnley vs Sheff Utd in 2nd tier 14k Coventry vs Ipswich in 2nd tier 22k Nottingham Forest vs Barnsley in 2nd tier etc etc 22k vs Exeter City in the 3rd tier is very good! Especially as Exeter wouldn't bring as many away fans as Man Utd, Arsenal etc.

It was my screenshot/bookmarks bar, Jordan Sibley just used my image. So he clearly reads Saints Web, which you would expect given his job.

Yeovil are using a picture of Morgan Schniederlin rather than Paul Wotton, which worried me at first.
-
Well he was 5th choice at best for a central midfield spot behind Hammond, Chaplow, Schneiderlin and Gobern. Possibly even McNish and Ward-Prowse would put Wotton even further down the pecking order soon. Makes sense to loan him out or sell him as he won't be playing 1st team football if he stayed and I think his contract is up in the summer. Plus he is back playing in the West Country.

What about the signing of Dickson and the progression into 1st team contention of Chamberlain? -
In 5 months time he may be a Championship player if he went to Saints now...

Preston average 12,000 in the Championship, Saints 22,000 in League One. So yes... -
With Sheff Weds not playing and Huddersfield and Charlton having potentially tricky away games at Carlisle and Colchester, 3 points against Exeter could see Saints in 2nd place come 5pm New Years Day.

You get the feeling he hates Darren Ferguson from watching that interview. -
Some people (including the ticket office staff) seem to think "near the back" mean worse seats. In fact from the back of St Mary's, as long as you are central, you get the best overview of the match. Its not like St Jame's Park where you would be miles away at the back.

Have you forgotten Alex is 17 years old and signed a 3 year professional deal at Saints in August 2010 until June 2013? http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2128220,00.html
