Why are people choosing the Party of their choicef
doubleonothing replied to John B's topic in The Lounge
Labour have had their chance. That have spent the past 13 years ruining this country. With mistakes ranging from the dome to selling gold to the economy. They inherited a healthy economy and spent all they could in the good tines and saved nothing for the bad times. As a result I will not be voting for them or the liberals (who will likely side with them, want to join the euro and sign up for everything in the euro constitution). 13 years of failure do not dwarves another chance. (appologies if this msg comes up with anything about sending from an I-phone. Does anyone know how to turn that feature off?) OOO -
I just remember him being consistently out of posistion at Swansea away last season. Something that Swansea continuously capitilised on. Having said that it may well have been a Portaloo tactic. OOO

After reading that PIR post, that made me laugh. OOO

B&gger! Ah well. Gutted but then remembering that most on here said we'd be happy with survival. Here's hoping we go up Auto next season. Worst bit for me is that Saints cost me on my accumulator. Damn them!!!! Roll on next season! OOO

Europa League semi finals could be postponed as Liverpool and Fulham can't get to Madrid and Hamburg with out going by coach/train/ferry. Champs league unaffected as are relatvily easlily driveable. F1 teams are trying work out how to get back from China. F1 charter planes for kit and cars so don't have to rely on scheduled. Teams are even looking at putting crews on the Trans-Siberian railway to get them back! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/8627890.stm http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/front_page/8622315.stm OOO

From BBC: Buemi and Hamilton escape with reprimand for pitlane actions.

Webber "Sir! Sir! Lewis drove into me! Sir!" Well if your team mate wasn't the other side of him he wouldn't have had to! Racing incident! Pitlane - Racing Incident! Alonso jump start - Non racing incident. Surprised FIA didn't blame McLaren.

doubleonothing replied to saint lard's topic in The Saints
Was just on the phone to my Newcastle supporting mate. Fortunatly he was watching SSN as well or I think I would have deafened him when we scored!!! He saw it and pulled the phone away! There is still a slim chance we can sneak in! You just never know with this season! How much will we miss Morgan though? Think that might be significant! OOO -

Sorry. Got myself confused there for a min. Here is why the system is biased towards Labour - knew I'd read something about it recently! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/election-2010/7581031/General-Election-2010-How-electoral-system-favours-Labour.html

Something clearly not right there!!! Think I'm right in saying that the wheels are supposed to remain tethered to the chassis in any form of accident (following the death of a marshall in Melbourne a few years ago). The crash testing should ensure that this happens. Presumably in this instance the forces were to great for the tethers meaning that the wheels were able to break free. The other factor could be that something has "cut" through the tethers but for this to happen on both wheels is unlikely. The fact that it went over the barriers in to a spectator area will mean the FIA have to go away and think about it. Expect to see higher barriers on that corner come race day. STR will have to go through the wreckage, the telementary and footage to try and work out how it all happened. Shouldn't effect Red Bull too much as I believe they have 2 seperate chassis designs this season as they now have to operate independantly. OOO

Problem is the electrol system is geared towards Labour. With boundary changes it is more likely that they will get more votes as the boundary changes have taken place in areas which are traditional labour strongholds. Even if the Tories poll more votes, Labour can still win more seats and remain in power. Until the system changes thats the way it is. And if you compare all the polls some had Brown coming out on top last night where as most went for Clegg. OOO
