Safe to say he doesn’t fancy coming back here then. Bit of a dodgy loan when you know Juve have no intention of paying the release clause and have 3 months to tap him up for a minimal fee.

End of the day he has no actual pedigree in the game prior to joining us. He’s been a hugely expensive punt taken in order to hopefully make some quick money. If you took away the Liverpool game no one would be able to recognise him as a 20m + signing. Couple this with signing a crocked striker and spaffing 10 million of our budget on a CM project who the manager doesn’t trust … well we are truly in bother.

Pity, really liked watching Ellis bowl. anyone seen it being suggested we might be brought out by some group who own an IPL franchise? Sounds a bit odd!

Or he could stink the place out with a lack of effort not wanting to injure himself before a bigger free transfer in the summer. Shame he’s not sticking around as he’s a decent Heskey sort of support striker. Must find a decent replacement before we do let him go though.

Never like it when we sign players with existing injuries. We will have paid the guy for several months of rehab and 2 sub appearances. Onuachu will have had more game time than him this season by the time he comes back and he’s been on loan since August!

In the Turkish second division though. I’m a bit dubious about the quality of attacker in that league! can’t say many people would be happy with Lis as first choice. Another totally barmy signing.

Can’t tell me someone like Alcaraz needs rotating he’s barely played for the last month whilst sat on the bench. Think he and Sule should start for sure and go from there.

You have to wonder why bother then? All this rubbish squad filler is what’s gotten us where we are. Should be looking for a Bazunu replacement not a bench sitter.

Not sure I’d be comfortable with a 40 yr old CB. Clearly a decent player but will only go downhill from here. Liked him here the first time, appreciated what he did for us and enjoyed his doing well but he’d come back because the championship will still pay decent wages and we need something a bit more long term.

It’ll be something to do with number of games he plays. You just know they’ll work out he’s pony after 3 games and he’ll be returned to sender.

Must say think this appointment is another massive risk. Realistically we need to be in the promotion mix this season, to be down any longer than 2 season is disastrous for our club.
