Fair enough if you think we’d spend that with GAO in charge but I suppose we will see in the next month which one of us is right
-
Ollie Watkins from Brentford looks decent but probably out of our price range as they apparently want 25million!
-
Immediate future- where does this leave us?

I’d argue we need to ditch 5 at the back, win the midfield a bit more often and keep the ball further up the pitch. Can’t see any upturn in the Man City games regardless of what he does next week. -
What sort of team are we expecting to play? Might take the midget

Relegation rivals Cardiff under scrutiny ....

Has there ever been a case where dodgey agent shenanigans has led to a points penalty? Not sure I can see the premier league doing it -
Awks ... he’s clearly on about Puel at Leicester.

Hopefully more Klopp than flop!

Bit sad that the best moment of our season is a lad we loaned out scoring against Portsmouth in the 3rd division haha -
Looked a lot like a decent pass through to me but there we go!
-
Awful subs cost us, compounded by failing to defend the first goal with our utterly crack defending.
-
Dislocated my knee in the bundle as Mane scored to beat Liverpool. Somehow managed to push it back in and celebrated. Bloody painful though!
-
Second this. Always thought he's looked decent whenever I've seen him play. Young enough to still improve further.
-
Good result and I feel the only team that wanted to play football won however concerning that we didn’t create many chances. Also Vardy not stepping up for a penalty , can he be relied upon? Alli again limited think Loftus Cheek would have improved us?
-
Classic Hampshire so far had them 21-3 now 194-4. With our batting as it is they could probably declare now and win by an innings
-
Bit sad to see all the changes being made in this years FA cup. Should apply the rules they had about first teamers from the JPT. Potentially us and Wigan could be the only QF teams to not make wholesale changes.
-
Aside from the fact those 2 points would (today) be the difference between staying up and relegation. If you can’t be aggrieved by that what can you be?
-
You did watch Kelvin Davis at his near post right?
-
From the BBC; Tord we have received from the street is that Southampton are hoping to have a replacement for Mauricio Pellegrino in place by the weekend. They face Wigan on Sunday in the quarter finals of the FA Cup. The club has confirmed Assistant Manager Carlos Compagnucci and Assistant First Team Coach Xavier Tamarit have also parted company with the club. Dave Watson and Kelvin Davis both remain on the coaching staff at St Mary's. Southampton have had just 1 win in their last 17 league games and their next league fixture is away to West Ham United. You just know it’s davis and Watson on Sunday! Eek!

Start Long and lose. Start Guido and PERHAPS be a bit more of an attacking threat and have a chance in this game. Pointless spending 20m on a bloke who won’t be first choice for a team of our level.

Swearing at SMS .... tolerable or offensive ?

I remember being at Sunderland away a couple of years back when the Johnson song was started. One lad was arrested so up started 3000 others ... he was de-arrested shortly after and the game continued. Good luck clearing a stand is all I will say. -
Yeah spot on! As if giving an useless manager the boot for an inexperienced coach who has no managerial experience is the way to get us out of this mess? Pelegrino must go but not to be replaced by an even cheaper option if such a thing exists!

Personally think VVD is looking worse as the tactics have taken away his ability to stride forward out of defence with the ball. He will now often just play a pass to either wing back. Basically he has become a little less eye catching he hasn't become a worse player. I do however feel sometimes he looks a bit languid which doesn't help the perception of him being a lazy so n so!
-
Could have had an extra 25 years and we wouldn’t have scored in that game!
-
The West Ham game was at least entertaining as most 3-2 games are but the lack of consistency is really killing any feelings towards the team. You just know you’ll turn up and spend half the game thinking I wish I’d done something else!
