As I said his general lack of effort. I’m not expecting him to run around full pelt at every opportunity but there were times in Tuesday when the press had gone forward and he made minimal effort to enforce it for the team. Its absolutely fine to call players out for lack of effort right?

What bothered me the most last night was his general lack of effort when closing down. He continually made “half” an effort, never really exerting himself, never quite getting to his man quick enough to pressure him whilst making an effort to seem like he wasn’t a traffic cone. Pathetic effort. Needs to get a bit of niggle into his game.

Fed up with this now. We've been decent in less than 10 games in the last 4 seasons. Fed up of hearing about all the "great lads" in the team who are not good enough whilst better players languish on the bench. Fed up of tactics from CM 2001 - pass out to a winger and get crosses in the box without having a striker who can header the ball in the box! Fed up with XG, Tactical master classes on Sky. Fed up with Sports Republic and clever bollocks signings who "could be the next big pay day". When will this purgatory end?!!!

Sadly reckon this deal is deader than a dead thing. Krasnador seem to have no interest in selling to us and I suspect assume they will be able to convince him to sign a new contract if they can hold on to him before the end of the month. Sure I've seen it mentioned that we've actually offered him a salary less than his current wage albeit with a pay rise if we go up. Shame looks a real talent!

Read an account last night which suggested the Russians won’t want to sell to a “lesser” / not top division side as it makes losing their best player look worse to their fans. Sounds as though they will likely not sell to us regardless of our offer and the player will not push the transfer out of loyalty to the side. If so what a complete mess surely we find this sort of info out before spending so much time on one player. As others have suggested a deadline seems like the best solution.

Another utterly awful game vs Surrey tonight. Never really in the game. Fuller going for loads of runs again and still feel like we’re a batter short in that line up.

Absolutely agree with this. We don’t play a style that aids any of our players. Juric is no better than Martin in that he plays a style that he obviously likes even when we play worse with it. Aribo and Smallbone as a starting CM pairing in the prem was the end of the afternoon for me.

Arguably we did. We left an in form player at Burnley who subsequently decided he didn’t fancy coming back to us. If he could have carried that form into our side perhaps we’d have seen a different outcome.

Said similar about KS and how he hadn’t been fit. Think we’ve all thought the same about this squad under RM. Perhaps we feel we were burned letting Tella stay the whole season when perhaps we should have recalled him in Jan and used him in our last relegation season?

Judging by how Stewart defended crosses against Ipswich I don’t think he’d add a lot. its time for the tower. Give the people what they want. We can hardly get any worse.

BBD and Archer as your first and 2nd choice strikers stinks of relegation. How BBD didn’t even hit the target with his late chance I do not know. Dibling again excellent and we seem to have the start of playing ok but the divving about at the back and lack of quality up front will kill us.

But for being able to bowl out Kent last week and , was it Warks? Earlier in the year we could be celebrating a Championship today despite not really getting started until about 4 games in!

Think he has been worse than poor so far. No threat to the goal. Poor weight of pass and limited quality of first touch. Not helped by the tactics but his shithousery levels need to be backed up by being actually half decent.

Looks like Ipswich have probably brought themselves a little PSR issue in the next two seasons if they don’t stay up. Not sure how sellable their buys will be.
