  1. We most need a Right Back. Gary Neville is out of contract and still pondering on whether or not he can still hack it in the Premier, if he doesn't sign for Manure, then why not?
  2. One of the worst outcomes for SFC, AP must be mental. Still thick as sh*t*, do as you're told, perform like an Rrse was never the creed of Simon Gillett. That's why he doesn't fit in here.
  3. Taking the ****, 2010 style...
  4. Did they play today? I hadn't noticed they were at home...
  5. Upset what balance? We're as lopsided as a one-legged turkey with it's Rrse on fire!
  6. Plenty of Skates players up for sale soon...
  7. After four successive dismal inept displays we'll need more than a couple of inspired signings in January to get anywhere in this league, we'll need a whole ****ing team bar two - Schneiderlin and Davies. Suddenly our emperor is wearing very translucent clothes. What can we expect in January? My guess is very little... It's beginning to have the feel of those not very lond ago days when we were supposed to be grateful during the January window that we hadn't actually had to sell any more of our players and had taken a mediocre loanee that nobody else wanted onto our permanent staff. Now it could be that no news is good news and AP has 4 aces up his sleeve and is keeping mumsie in case the Gooners or Spuds get the whisper and beat us to it.... Somehow, though one sense that Saints will be forever Saints and Woking's third choice right back will be the height of our ambition. Maybe Jason is about to make a big comeback? I'll pass on the swiss roll, if it's all the same to you.
  8. If we're honest none of them are much cop. They came, they tried they failed. Trotman is nothing more than a journeyman who's good at keepie-uppie; Mellis flatters to deceive; Connolly is good in parts but goes Awol most of the ime in most game - as again v Exeter. Antonio is from the Tesco's own label headless chicken shelf....
  9. I've said it before and I'll say it again... We have not beaten anybody in the top six all season. This game more or less confirms that we'll end up about 12th at the end of the season/ In fact it looks more and more the case that this team having set themselves the goal of achieving comfortable mid-table status at the beginning of the season have now mentally settled for that - win at home, don't bother away and there you have it. Guys! This is about as good as it gets this season.
  10. It's not been mentioned so far but Flybe sponsor both clubs so it seems likely they'll be doing some special stuff on the day, Great Christmas Giveaway, although you still get to pay the airport taxes? On the downside it is rather sad that so many "can't wait for Saturday"... ! Whatever happened to the excitement of Christmas?
  11. All contributes to global warming, any little helps as Monty Python might have said.
  12. Alan Pardew thinks this result suggests "we are getting there". OK I accept it's a face saver for him on Monday morning when the boss sends for him but honesty is what's needed right now not wishful thinking. We have not beaten any team from the top 6 so far this season; the reality is that we'll struggle to get into the play-offs unless we improve our side in January. We need at least a good right back and a decent creative midfielder or frankly mid-table see-sawing will be as good as it gets.
  13. Jammy Bastards!
  14. Anyway stuff them, we're not going and now we're not going up there tomorrow either so that's 5 seats lost because of effing idiots at SMS who don't know what effing loyalty effing means or don't effing give a toss. Bastards!
  15. The club has let it's ST holders down very badly. Some bastard grabbed my usual seat before I got there first thing Monday, fthen told "open seating" whatever that's effing meant to be. Anyway Eff them all up there. None of my mates got their usual seats either so you've guessed thay all said on saturday Eff the Effing lot of them up there.. So that's really good PR guys, effing off half your effing loyal fanbase. Is this the shape of things to come?
  16. A very satisfying result after a nerve-racking first period when we were poor and just couldn't figure how to outwit a packed defence. Credit to Alan Pardew he does seem to be able to change tactics subtly as well as in the more obvious ways. A bit of a bummer that after such a gritty display and a well-earned victory we made no progress towards the play-offs. I'll bet I am not the only one who is disappointed about that and that we gained only one place. Now we are close to the 'winning' half of the league it is obviously going to be far more difficult to make progress upwards as dramatically as over the past few weeks. Even AP is cautious about it in his reaction piece. We must get something at Leeds so I'd let the Johnson's Paint Can go if I were in charge, put out the reserves or something but let's not get our blokes knackered, injured or sent off ahead of Saturday. We need our best team at Leeds even if they put Murty in a wheel-chair
  17. There are also plenty of hard cover car parks around the stadium so why park in a field? The whole complex there becomes a Park & Ride sit for Silverstone on F1 Grand Prix days.
  18. Let's all take a calm-down pill including our new Chairman. We have a free press in this country thank God and nobody should deny their freedom to publish what they want and to collect their news however thay have to. Do we really want our press controlled by background mandarins who can decide what and what not you are allowed to publish. Publish and be damned say I. We live in a democracy still (just about). OK maybe there are some boundaries when it comes to personal stuff but being quick off the mark to publish news of Staplewood is hardly damaging any particular individual. Quite the contrary in fact as it puts the new management team in a very positive light - a refreshing change for this City and Club so why would The Echo not wish to spread the good tidings to us all at this time of the year especially? They'll find a way around it once some kin passer-by picks all the toys up and oputs them back in the pram. Come on children behave nicely or Santa Claus wont be coming this Christmas! No wisecarcks about old-age either please.. This is no laughing matter... Ho! Ho! Ho!.
  19. Not Wotton, he would be a disaster. His tackling is never anything other than full-on and desperate so we concede a penalty or two every week. Also he's slow so left wingers would have a field day waltzing around him at speed.
  20. The sensible answer is for some of us to share cars and petrol cost but wifey has just reminded me that we're booked for a local Christmas bash on the 19th so I'm stuffed! S--T!
  21. I know of a few 'posh' people who used to claim to be Saints fans when we first moved to St Mary's and were riding high under GS. Now thse same people never go and never ask me about Saints at all. But I'll bet my house on the fact that when the good times return they'll be back slavering with indignation at not being able to get tickets 'cos "we've been Saints fans all our lives" These people are nothing more than slimy barstewards to a man (or woman). We don't want them and don't need them at all. Unfortunately the Saints will need their money so I suppose it's inevitable that genuine 'thich 'n thin' fans like us will have to put up with the creeps all over again. Yuk! "Come OUR day, the B------S will be back"
  22. Hey! We are only 9 points from the play-offs.. Why is nobody excited about that?
  23. Sir David Beckham. Once he's finished winning the World Cup he'll be up for a new challenge and he loves teaching kids so he can run the Academy during the week and knock in a few goals at weekends.
  24. Well **** me, it's 3-1 again! Pardew out! We want a manager with more imagination.
  25. You didn't tell me anything useful so I'll have to go to the OS website to find out when I've got to brave the elements and make my way up to SMS. can never get the on-line thingy to work.
