Sorry if posted elsewhere but was wondering what the state of play is with the developments at Staplewood?

Every now and again you post something I agree with - this is one of those times. The world cup showed our methods to be what they are totally outdated. We (in this Country) need to start looking at technical ability ie being able to control a ball first touch (and lets not even think about being two footed) - our best players try to do it but the ball ends up about 5 yards away -it was quite embarrassing at times.

Agree in general Steve and my concerns are the same as yours - just one thing tho' - did Adkins have the correct level of support/resources to better the 20th spot? If he was given the backing by NC do you think he would/could do better than 20th? For me I'd like to see Tony Mowbray or if we are really looking for wow then it would be Mr O'Neil. At the end of the day I'll support whoever the club see fit to manage the first team.

Our midfield need to be introduced to our center forwards cos at the mo they look worlds apart. 10 yards from defence to mid field - 50 yards from midfield to center forwards is not the best way to build a cohesive team unit.

Not seen any such admission TBH. That being said we got the defenders in we needed but did not replace the pace we lost and will suffer for it over the course of the season. No defender likes to face a pacey player running at them.
