Could be that AP signed him on loan as he rated him. Then they didn't hit it off (that could be for many many reasons) and we didn't sign him? As for goolie, who knows if we'll see loads of him or not? If he plays well and deserves a starting place then I'm sure he'll get it - just hope he doesn't think he'll get loads of time on the ball in this (or any English) league.

A very good and timely statement. As to Weston Saints comments re the reationship - I see what your saying but Markus's family would not want Markus's last project (for want of a better word) to fail. Of course that is just my opinion.

Got a couple of friends that have had first hand dealings with Cortese - shock horror they actually thought he was a good guy to do business with, very open and encouraging of new ideas/ways of doing things.

Hmmm perhaps you should of said "Kindly Avuncular looking old gent" as I'm pretty sure that Markus didn't get to where he did by being kindly. It takes a clear and concise mind to achieve anywhere near what he did.

No pace - that needs to be addressed IMHO.

Markus you brought light to our club when it looked as if the candle was about to go out for that, I will be thankful for the rest of my days. When the people in charge of making your dream into a reality succeed then I for one will remember who started it. RIP Markus.

I'll be buying a season ticket for as long as I can afford it - after that it will be on a game by game basis. Saturdays to me are not just about the match - its far more than that.
