If he continues to bulk up and add a bit of muscle he ought to be a top notch player as he has the engine to get up and down and do a role in the pressing game He reminds a little of Beckham when he was young, hasn't got the ability or speed to go by players but has energy and a range of passing, crossing etc

I suspect we let Ramirez go out on loan in Jan to Italy with a view to selling him in the summer, it's clear he hasn't worked out here and isn't suited to either our high energy pressing game nor the premiership Would love us to get Astori but realistically a decent young GK, left back and someone like a Tom Ince would be great but we do have a lot of talented youngsters, when you look at Isgrove, Rowe etc who I suspect wouldn't look out of place in the first team if they got a game , same as Chambers

This week or soon Osvaldo is going to get a couple or lay a couple on, he has unboubted class, just needs to click for him. We needed a second striker to play alongside or take over from SRL and he's it He did a hell of a lot of pressing on Sat in his lone role up front, something SRL cant do because of his size. His movement was also good, but he didnt connect with his chance and played a few poor passes when well placed so for the Xbox football fans that aint good enough...

All the people dropping Davis, really??? He's been one of our best players the last few weeks and was excellent yesterday. I can't understand why so many drop him to fit others into the team He will start for sure, in fact I'd look at the same team that started vs ManU with JWP instead of Rodrigues.

Interestingly SRL did little better when he came on. Jones and Evans are good defenders (how Jones is not their starting CB over Ferdinand is anyone's guess) He will get better as he adapts to the league I think, can see him getting 3 or 4 goals quickly

Thought Davis was superb again today as was JWP when he came on, for those saying Cork is a better player than Wanyama, that game summed up why he isnt. Wanyama won everything in the middle of the pitch today
