Nigel Adkins was at St Mary's yesterday and stayed at the De Vere hotel by the docks. Not saying there's anything in it, he's a pretty frequent visitor but thought it was worth noting.

However it wasn't his fault George Burley, for some unknown reason, wanted to build the team around him and play him at LB and on one occasion CB. Got way too much stick. Nice guy too. In our game against Sheff Utd when we had the pitch invasion, some friends of mine went up to him and went "Jermaine, you're a legend!" And he just looked at them, laughed and went "Think you've mistaken me for someone else!"

Same. He's the first manager, in 13 years of following Saints that I've ever actively called for to be sacked. Though George Burley did get mighty close before we "let" him become Scotland manager.

We did the same for Puel about this time last season. I voted to keep Puel but Pellegrino is out of his depth. Doesn't even look like he gives a sh1t half the time. Sack him, Put Kevin Keegan in until the end of the season. He's been angling for the Saints job for years now. He's got a good record, plays good football, knows and loves the club. This gives Les and Co over half a year to find a new manager. Can we have a poll please, mods?

Puel is a far superior manager to Pellegrino. Koeman is superior to Puel. As is Poch to Koeman. We've been going backwards for a while, managerial wise.
