  1. I really hope not. He looks class.
  2. Bloody hell. He's worth about what we paid. No more, no less.
  3. That time of the year again, lads! Let's have a sweepstake. Pick a fixture for each of the following dates, plus a random bonus weekend of your choosing. Ff you're right you win nothing. If you're wrong, you lose nothing. I'll go... First game of the season: Stoke at home. Boxing day: Crystal Palace away. 28th December: Brighton at home. Easter Weekend: Huddersfield away. Last game: Brighton away. FA Cup third round: West Ham at home. League Cup second round: Exeter at home. Bonus game: My birthday weekend (25th-28th August): Man City at home.
  4. We could also do a lot better. Keegan is the one that I always wanted in our Championship and League One days and was happy that time it looked like he was going to be appointed. But we've now progressed beyond that level.
  5. I keep having to remind myself we still have a manager.

  7. Why are West Ham, WBA and Stoke not calling for their manager to be sacked? They finished below that and haven't had a cup final.
  8. Adam Blackmoore not expecting him to be sacked and certainly not expecting anything today.
  9. I don't watch or follow foreign football. Could anyone who's watched Dortmund over the last couple of years give some insight as to the type of Football Tuchel plays?
  10. At least that rules him out...Unless he's trying to throw us off the scent!
  11. These are pretty much my thoughts.
  12. If they're proved guilty they should be banned from signing him and a six month transfer ban should be put on them. And that's me being generous.
  13. I'd choose Huddersfield over us. After seeing the way everyone has demanded Puel's head despite a reasonably successful season. Plus, after what he's done at Huddersfield, there's literally no pressure there. They could finish bottom with a record low points total and he'd still keep his job and be loved by fans.

The LVG story is everywhere. Not sure I believe it. He isn't a Saints type appointment. The Dortmund bloke fits the bill more so than hin. Anyway, hasn't LVG been known to play pretty drab football too?

Wright wasn't that bad when he played in his actual position of CM. Not great by any means but we've seen worse. Wright's criticism usually came from Burley's bizarre obsession with playing him anywhere he possibly could.
  17. That was before it became obvious he wanted to go to the French club.

Not the most positive person on here, are you?
  19. Lol that's odd. The other way round would be something I've come to expect.

Okay for us to be looking for his replacement behind his back though?
  21. So...Is that good?
  22. Remember when some people on here were getting excited at the prospect of Phil Brown coming in as our manager? We've come a long way, lads!
  23. I have no problem with him using us as a stepping stone. It just means there's more motivation to do well. I'd rather that than someone who sees Saints as the biggest job they'll ever have and the pinnacle of their career.
