  1. Not a fan of that. It's nothing against it per say, I just like us in stripes with red sleeves. Nice and simple.
  2. I don't follow foreign football but they've always struck me as their version of Everton.
  3. So it was six times less likely that Leicester winning the League
  4. It was never going to be. Not in a million years. There was always more chance of Danny Dyer being the next host of QI than Wenger even considering us.
  5. We do one every year don't we? Even in the League One days I think. I'm hoping we do an away game in the West Country.
  6. Tuchel leaves Dortmund.
  7. Trips to France (No surprises there) and Austria with a visit to Brentford sandwiched between.
  8. Claude Puel. Apparently plays exciting football and his pressers are a laugh a minute. Also, during training, puts an extra emphasis on penalties.

They're only having the meeting tomorrow?! WTF have they been doing for the last week?!

Pellegrini should not be amongst that lot.

I could understand not being thrilled at Monk but surely, if we appointed him there wouldn't be many that would be absolutely gutted? At worst it's "Meh".
  12. Glad it's them. Reading never contribute anything to the PL.
  13. Huddersfield, Brighton and us back together again! It'll be just like old times. Hopefully they can keep up

Agreed. I was there, looking at the free kick being lined up and I knew exactly what was going to happen. Not just it going in but Forster not getting close enough to it.

I thought we had 6 managers replacements lined up at all times?

This whole thing reminds me of the Burley departure. It was very kind of us to let him take his dream job given how much we wanted to hold onto him...
  17. Just signed up for a full membership, How do I go about getting my Username changed?
  18. It's an interesting possibility (no pun intended)...Would you take Wenger?

The logic that most are applying to want Puel out...Surely Leicester only finished first because of United, Liverpool, Chelsea etc being below bar?

Yet if we finish top half, it's hunky dory.
  21. Isgrove could have been a very good player if he'd gone by now. I was starting to think he'd got some sort of dirt of Reed, Premier League - No. Championship - Good squad player for the top 8, very good player for the rest League One - Always been class if his loan spells are anything to go by League Two - Messi
  22. I think that's a very one dimensional way of looking at everything but I take your point, he was a risk. Just because Spurs took the risk with MoPo, does it mean we should? The repercussions of failing at Spurs are 8th or something. The repercussions of failing at Saints is relegation. It's just not a risk I would be prepared to take.

Probably. Not really a catastrophe is it?
  24. He did alright at Espanyol didn't he?
  25. I've got a seat from The Dell. A 76 Cup Final programme signed by Lawrie McMenemy and Peter Osgood. A ball signed by the entire 2006/07 squad A shirt signed by a lot of that same squad. A ticket to Gareth Bale's first ever professional game signed by the man himself (Millwall I think) A ticket to the game that Bale scored his first ever goal (Derby away, I remember it well) A shirt signed by most of the 2008-2009 squad, though tbf I don't think that's anything to brag about but you never know who might pay for the great Jamie White's signature. A programme for the FA Cup game against WBA in 76. Not signed by anyone but I got it at a programme fare at SMS years ago from an old man. I picked it out from his section of programmes and asked how much it was and he said just make a £5 donation to Marie Curie (wouldn't take anything, just trusted that me and my mate would do it) Then he said told me he didn't have long to live and said "That was my programme, you look after it". It's always touched me and when I moved out of my parents' house, like the other things I didn't trust myself to look after, I left that there. Not sure I could part with that for anything.
