Never have I been so bored listening to a Saints game. It comes to something when the highlight of the game is the fact that all four players in our double substitution's names started with the same letter. We got there in the end though, I really didn't want to be put through another half an hour of that.

Four losses in a row? Funny, I could have sworn we drew last week and beat Liverpool in midweek. Must have been dreaming I guess. This one just can't be blamed on Puel. Almost identical to the game we lost at this same ground two years ago. This one is the player's fault.

I really like Poch. I know I'm not meant to but actually, I have no reason not to like him. Still speaks very highly of us, did well here, went to a bigger job. He waited till the end of the season after Cortese left. I've never understood why we have so much malice toward him. He left us with far more dignity than Koeman.

De Ridder, Ostlund. Blackstock, Harding. All fairly bad players but something quite loveable about them all. I'll even put the legendary Jermaine Wright into the list! However my all time favourite of the crap lot has to be Djemel Belmadi! Scored in the first ever Saints game I went to see, 2-0 win over Crewe on my 13th birthday. I know Quashie scored a penalty that game too but I don't remember which way round the goals were but either way he scored the first ever Saints goal from open play that I saw (in a competitive game). Loved him from then on even though he was fairly gash.

So Fonte is off. Even if he does stay he shouldn't continue as captain after this. Davis would be my choice. Poll please, mods?

Massively overrated player. He's been a good player and good servant but nowhere near as good as everyone makes him out to be. He makes just as many mistakes as Yoshida. I won't wish him well but won't wish him bad either.

Anyone that wants Puel sacked is a bit simple IMO.

Come on, yesterday was great and there WAS an extra buzz about it. I was in the "It's not a Derby" camp till yesterday but let's be honest, if that had happened against Stoke in midweek (similar side to Bournemouth), had we gone 1 down there then come back and won 3-1 it wouldn't have felt as good as it did yesterday. There was something very, very different about yesterday because it was Bournemouth. Obviously it's never going to be the same as P*mpey, that'll always be our PROPER Derby but we probably won't be seeing them again for some quite time and of course next season, we'll probably get to renew our rivalry with Brighton but rather than pretend Bournemouth is just another game why not treat it as a Derby, they're looking okay and not likely to go anywhere for a year at least. I'm treating it as a Derby and one we have bragging rights in and already looking forward to playing them at SMS!

Seems a nice lad, got a lot of talent and ability but sadly it's the simple things he doesn't do well and as a keeper it's the simple things you need to do well.

Theo left us over a decade ago to join a PL club with big prospects. Ox did likewise. Can't remember if we were promoted when Ox left. Both have achieved more than if they'd stayed here. What a weird thread.

Far from a perfect performance but a mass improvement. Hojbjerg my MOTM, he was quality from start to finish. Pleased for Sims, brilliant debut for him. This is a huge three points for us, not because of the Koeman factor but because Everton are a very similar side to us and they'll fairly close to us come may IMO. GET IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
