I will cry if we sign him.....it would be emotional
-
Maybe Cortese has called it off due to the greedy agents and unrealistic demands? Shame if true
-
Maybe Mike Ashley's plan is to get under Pardews skin - massively undermining him and getting Pardews to resign so he doesn't have to pay out the agreement. Obviously playing Devils advocate, but wide boy Kinnear would be well up for an undermining task for 1/4 of the value of the severance package that Pardew will be on ;-)

Have to be careful as this is a Sharp post and don't want to set off the bedwetters, but did you see Maya for Brazils 3rd yesterday?....pathetic isn't the word.
-
I think he is poor, but hey opinions and all that. Would be much happier to see a new name starting along side Lovren
-
I think Fonte has more to offer than yoshida and hoovielt, Sharp on he other hand would be better finding a new club
-
Worth a nostalgic viewing
-
Jayrod and lambert are better than Hooper IMO. Darren bent would be a better option, but he is not the sort of player saints go for
-
This would be one hell of a coup, my only concern is about the dressing room dynamics changing, we will soon have a number of big time Charlie's and some major egos. Hopefully it's not too destructive with the existing squad, but if we are going to move on to the next level, then this change is inevitable. This signing would be up there with the best of them. I can only think of Keegan in my life time (and I was probably too young to understand the hysteria). Benga is some player, if we pull his off, then despite Cortese's flaws, he is really taking Saints global

If the club is up for sale then we will not be running the company at any level below break even in my opinion. Did Cortese not vote against the financial FairPlay rules? If so, this would imply that perhaps investment was there/promised before the vote. However, i believe the vote was post BVI loan? cant be bothered to check. in any event itall leadsto a power struggle over funding. i hope this is concluded quickly to ensure we can add to the current playing staff in time for next season. I wonder whether te BVI loan was sanctioned by Liebherrs? It's not sounding good put it that way

I think he has great ability but hasn't settled. He didn't do his own PR any good when prior to joining Saints, he supposedly talked about the wages being too good to turn down, or words to that effect. Hopefully he will come good next season.

Common you taffy feckers!
-
They seemed to spend more time talking to Rickie rather than his fat overweight brother (GH) It's about doing it for another season now.....which Holt has failed to do this year
-
I would like some Arab sponsorship for £400 billion
-
Wigan are down ;-), I would have taken 17th at the start, but it will feel like a disappointing season to now finish 17th
-
I still think Lallana is a great talent, however he does not offer much cover for the full back. Because of this, when he plays I would play him in a free central role in a 5 man midfield (in the hole).

Fox should do one
-
Fox, hoofvelt and yoshida are all sh1t, always have been in my book. Get rid and let's def bring in 2 commanding centre backs in the summer
-
Not even a round of Jaeger bombs...not a chance
-
Unless we could attract a sell out crowd against sh1t teams like Exeter, I wouldn't bother even discussing the expansion plans....
-
Pm me if you want a ticket, it will cost you a frigging fortune though!

Ramiez, time to settle or not good enough?

Gaston needs time and clearly has a class about him that others haven't got. However, anyone that says he had better than a very mediocre performance yesterday needs their eyes testing. On many occasions he gave the ball away far too cheaply. At times I can forgive him for giving the ball away by trying to thread a pass through/split the opposing defence, but not when we give the ball away in the middle if the park under no pressure at all.
