  1. JWP covered more ground than anyone else on that football pitch. It wasn't headless chicken running, it was intelligent movement but with an extra gear of energy. At such a young age he is by no means the finished article. Don't get me wrong, i like Jack Cork and his composure, but i think JWP will have more to offer as he develops this year. From what I saw yesterday, more performances like that will earn him at least 10-15 appearances this year IN THE LEAGUE
  2. I really like Lallana with the freedom in a 5 man midfield. Jwp was simply outstanding. IMO ahead of jack cork on that performance, full of energy and more offensive thinking also. He will play a big part this year. Future star no doubt
  3. In terms of message for the plane, what about: Good riddance Skates. From the Scummers
  4. Put me down for £50 who's collecting for the plane? Can it say bye bye Skates WTFILN?
  5. I play at Bramshaw, but there is a pretty good course at Tylney in Hook which is 1 junction down from Basingstoke. Very reasonable twilight rates
  6. Give the peasants £10m - not because he is worth it, but because we are rich and we can.
  7. Pacey centre half and pacey winger and I'm happy. No need for another keeper. We can just loan one in if Davis or gazza get injured
  8. How can £3k ruin his life? Loser
  9. If Saints had a sell on fee clause, I think Reading are paying Burnley, so does that mean we owe Burnley money?
  10. Part of me thinks someone like Milan Mandaric will come in and save them - but then you realise he is already at another club so that is unlikely and also they have the small misfortune of a 5 year restriction, -10 , no players, contracts to fulfil, + other debt. There is surely only one outcome. Even the PST must be thinking they would be best off start again than service all that sh1t. On one hand if they survive, we will probably see them struggle for many years to come, but I think I still prefer liquidation They will fold 1 week before bompey. Looking forward to celebrate the official news that they are dead. Die skates die
  11. 6-3 versus Man Utd. Eyal Berkovic volley in the top corner towards the bike shed
  12. He is much the better player playing in the central midfield role IMO. His link up play and intricate passing rubs off on the rest of the team. As a striker he will be woeful in the Premier. He is also not a wide midfielder with a box of tricks, so naturally drifts inside. Happy for him for a 1 year only, but I would only like to see him play in the middle of a 5 man midfield
  13. As TCWTB decides on his own fate, worries over the cost of laser treatment to remove all of his tacky tattoos, whilst crying into his transvestite friends shoulders....meanwhile, Saints spend another few million quid on some new, young, raw talent (that we can afford)....Life is tough. Don't jump Jonny!
  14. I think it's gonna be a nightmare getting tickets for non season ticket holders. I expect the total to push over £23k at least now. What with 3200 away fans. This will leave at best a paltry 6000 tickets left for each game for general sale. They could then prioritise based on loyalty points. I would also imagine that there will be another spike of sales end of July when pay day has arrived.
  15. Maybe Claus is skint and could do with some story money?
  16. I reckon Block 3 will be made available but only on a match by match basis. Gutted because that's where I was going to sit and it would be pretty noisy if they let people buy season tickets there.
  17. Not tried it yet, but didn't take long to find http://www.fixturebox.com/football/premier-league/southampton
  18. How weird, I was just about to post a request yesterday as to where I cold get this for the iPad and also pc (outlook), when literally 2 minutes later you posted. Thanks for this, it works fine with the iPad. Just need to get outlook fixtures now...I will do a search and report back
  19. And despite how old Wimbledon is as a venue, it is still far more modern and sophisticated than the shat pit down the road
  20. My guess is 17000 so far, we will sell 20422, not as many as fa cup final year due to cost increases, economy and people falling out of love with the game during rupert years ;-) .... I might be wrong of course
  21. Great signing for Saints, good all round attacking player, very right footed though ;-)
  22. Also to add, I think most of our transfers may drag on a whle before they actually sign, players will have uncertainties over where saints will finish this year I am sure, we are no longer a big fish in a small pond
  23. Let's be honest if manure had a bid accepted for a player, that player would get the first plane back from holiday to make sure the deal went through. Based on rumour only, it wouldn't surprise me if Jay rod didn't really fancy a move to Saints but his agent is definitely looking to drum up interest from other parties. Good player, maybe loads of potential, probably the sort of grounded player we need, but at £7m that is an awful lot of cash.
  24. Main pros and cons for me are Cons = more jcl's, worse atmosphere/less vocal, more money, Pros = better view, probably far less queues for beer and toilets I must admit queuing at half time will be horrendous again, so it is a good idea by the club
  25. Did she cheat on him then? Who cares he is Adam Lallana, go and rinse some sluts Adam
