  1. I think this interview demonstrates how important it is in modern day football management to be able to handle the media competently. Managers are judged to a certain extent on what they say to the media just as much as what they do or team does on the field. SC is clearly not making it any easier for himself with the things he has said in recent times. He sounds very amateurish in this interview. I'll give him 2 months max if the performances don't improve. I don't think the football side of things is entirely his wrong doing. Anyway **** 'em. Rot in hell you filthy ****s
  2. Kachina hands down
  3. Agreed yes he was, I don't believe he will even feature over Martin next game. Distribution was appalling, Saints players didn't look like they wanted to pass to him. He didn't look at all comfortable on the ball, yes he was a big lump, won a few headers but a couple of times you would have thought his head was shaped liked a 50p piece. Quote me again if you like but bet he plays no more than another 3 times for Saints max and ****s off back to Celtic. The only very poor performance today. Bring back Jahidi . Anyone who thinks he did well was watching a different game
  4. the main question has to be: Were we targetting a cb and cf? if so, what has impacted us from signing players on permanent contracts for these positions? Is any AOC money going to be made avaialble in the transfer window in January?
  5. I think you will find that people are underwhelmed at the prospect of signing a cb who seems to be going backward in his career rather than forwards and CEltic fans don't seem to rate him. We're obviously just taking a punt otherwise we would have signed him long term if we were sure about him. All of these factors are not the blue print of a club showing real ambition - come on happy clappers and youngsters....prove me wrong. Let's hope the big man plays well
  6. Very constructive feedback, glad you like the debate and contribute wise words...f....u...c....k....I....n....g mong
  7. Is de Ridder an international....no. Where are they in the FIFA rankings? Obviously being a saints web poster you have to be completely blind to anything slighty critical ;-)
  8. I agree with this post 100%. Local gash is always an inportant factor. No wonder Cortese plays hard ball
  9. I'd bite your hand off for Giggs at his age now. Giggs was an international and probably would have walked into any side at the peak of his career. However, I agree, I hope de Ridder comes good
  10. With a great end to last season and an unbeaten start to this campaign, no one is doubting the qualities of NA. Tactically he makes bold decisions and seems to get the best out of the players, we can see the togetherness is there. However, with the exception of Jack Cork, which of these players his signings have added significantly improved quality to the first team? Fox (not really featured so jury is out)..Burnley fans seemed to think poor defensively, very good going forward N'guessen Forte Stephens De Ridder...jury is out, looks like he has something different to his game and is hungry, but Belgium not renowned for being successful on the international scene. From what we have been restricted to so far, difficult to draw conclusions Chappers...squad player My point is so far we have only really seen Cork add to the first 11 quality
  11. looking forward to this, should be a decent crowd too I reckon. Should hit 24k plus based on the recent performances

  14. Just hope Adkins doesn't become a Paul Sturrock part 2.
  15. I would **** in my missus handbag and blame it on the dog
  16. I have a girly friend who is a chamber maid in a ST Mary's whore house. Apparently, she saw David Pleat in there hagling over prices. My money is on Pleat
  17. agreed but then how do the courts punish what they can't quantify in monetary terms? Or do they give Skates a blanket £13m fine? If so, I think we might find BC call it a day and walk, leaving Rob Lloydd the chance to come in and save them with his billions! ha ha I think they are ****ed, big time
  18. yes they can see the money generated, but how do you attribute the revenue contribution by player? the answer is, you can't do it easilly and therefore it is very difficult to police. I think more stringent measures will see an annual review of revenues generated and then clubs paying annual image rights 'bonuses' based on revenues, rather than form part of the players weekly/monthly income - but who knows? that's just an idea. What the skates can't escape is that they prevented HMRC from being able to vote and they did this by counting all football creditors to make up the 76% they needed to come out of admin. Football creditors were assured a 100% dividend. Therefore anyone who is gauranteed a 100% divided is a SECURED debtor. A CVA can only consider UNSECURED debtors and hence why I think Skates will lose. This is the gripe HMRC have with skates, the image rights thing is with football in general. Rivalry aside, footballers get paid a fortune, they should pay their f*cking taxes, it's always middle britain or mr average that gets collared by the tax man. So good luck HMRC, I hope you win for more reasons than one.
  19. I can't see HMRC winning the appeal about image rights. Portsmuff paid inflated wages to players that they couldn't afford and therefore they could argue that the image rights were based on the FORECASTED revenues only. The fact that these players did not generate the additional revenues forecasted is very difficult to quantify in terms of an actual monetray value. Therefore, I think the likely outcome is that there may be more stringent measures on how image rights are taxed moving forward. I do think that the HMRC have a solid foundation to argue that due to the football creditors ruling, any football debt should be considered as a SECURED debt and therefore the HMRC should have had the 25% needed to stop the CVA. - It is on these grounds that I think the courts will vote in favour of HMRC and those skate fish sh*gging ****s will be toast.
  20. gutted, met Malc on several occasions and work with his wife Chris. Really feel for her and gutted for all concerned. Very sad.
  21. I think if Antonio goes elsewhere it means we definitely have someone else lined up.
  22. I was with a representative from Reading on Friday last week. It sounds to me like Pardew hasn't taken the option to sign him
  23. not having an installment plan is a bad move. I stopped my season ticket last season and thought I would buy on an adhoc basis instead. However, despite 14 years of having a season ticket I only managed about 7 matches. You are not tied in, so it is bad business not having an installment plan. You just hope they have done their homework
  24. Just looking at The Times Rich List and was seeing if our man was on it. http://www.forbes.com/lists/2010/10/billionaires-2010_The-Worlds-Billionaires_Rank.html Anyone know what his real net worth is?
