....out and get a wing wizzard. Someone in the mould of Neil McCann or Stuart Ripley...ok seriously now, maybe not these one trick ponies but someone with pace on the wing. What was evident last night was the Swindon player who looked remarkably like Nathan Dyer on the wing, caused us a lot of problems. Great signings Pardew to date, Harding looks a good player, Lambert - good player, Hammond - proven at this level. Get a commanding centre half and then someone with a bit of craft, creatvity on the wing. Everyone is concerned about our midfield options and too many central players, we really do need someone with pace. Can't we get that Swindon player from last night, who was he?

what was evident last night was that Swindon not only caused us problems from set pieces but going forward they looked dangerous down both flanks - an offensive threat that we just don't have

if we sign Jahidi i think we would have an outside chance of playoffs if he stayed fit all season

i'm pretty sure you can get tickets for the home end tonight -
Hi Chez, would like your ticket if possible please. Unfortunately though I have a full car. I guess you will try and get a lift first, but if not, will pick ticket up from you. Thanks

we should get another 500 then -
I saw a Leibherr crane at the Serbia/Croatia border coming back from the Exit festival in Novi Sad just after ML took over. I had a small ejaculation release in my Calvins.

i'm sure we would sell 3,300 if it was on a Saturday, but still, we should definitely have just over 2,200. Good following for a League 1 game on a Tuesday night. -
are there more available if and when we sell the other 500?
-
does anyone know how many extra we will be getting?
-
I think we will definitely have more than 2000 at Swindon if we ask for more tickets. I would expect us to be able to sell another 400 - 500 now there is a buzz around new signings and it's not far to go.

Agreed Itchen blocks 1-3 was the best atmosphere in the ground for banter and singing IMO. Surely with both Itchen 1-4 and Northam singing we would create a great atmosphere again. For me, shutting these blocks killed it. How do you put a price value on atmosphere though?

Munto Finance v Markus Liebherr (Notts County v Saints)
Mouldy Coat replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
No it's not enough for me, of course I am overwhelmed we still have a club and v grateful for ML, but providing the clubs finances are run sensibly I would still like to see us make an attempt to sign players with transfer fees thats all. Anyway, you sound like a cyber warrior to me, intent on arguing with forum people (going by your other posts). Perhaps I should have rephrased to I hope we invest adequately in the team than invest lots - that way you wouldn't of got off yor high horse nnnnnAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA COYR -

It will be interesting to see if our new owner is actually going to put his hand in his pocket and invest lots in the team. It is hard to tell right now, but I guess if Pardew is only able to pick up free transfers, that will tell us something. Hopefully we can dig deep, or it may take a long time to get to where we belong. The fact Pardew said that he was very impressed with our new set up would indicate that perhaps he has been assured a transfer kitty? -
it's fair to say no doubt Ajax will have a number of supporters 'looking for it' on Saturday. Trying to earn a reputation on tour in England. I think a mob of 30 strong Dutch will be enough to make our yoof hide.

it will happen on Friday....mark my words. I know MLT said Tuesday, but if I was going to spend a few million and I knew the creditors weren't overwhelemed with options, I too would leave it until the last minute to leverage the best price.
-
look at Coventry bought in teh nick of time by that hedge fund so they could get the club as cheap as possible
-
Look guys, it's obvious the deal wont happen until last minute. Then they can negotiate a smaller price for Saints. Creditors will accpet something rather than nothing and Mr Fialka or whoever he is callled is in a win win situation. He's bought Saints for 5 million when we are worth at least £20m.....he'll then try and sell to the Swiss
