as much as I would love to believe this report, it was written by the Screws Of The World and I am always sceptical when there is no named source for their quotes ie. A St Marys Spokesman said, or an insider said, passer by or some other made up invisible source. I am sure Saints would take firmer action if there was a very good chance of them getting wound up before Saturday. Administration is the most likely outcome and the game will go ahead. Still always good to take the p1ss out of our tin pot rivals.

I wont be dressing up, but there will be no better chance to have a laugh at their expense. Hats off to anyone that wants to do that...However, there will be more than enough casuals at ST Marys on the day if that's what you are worried about? ;-)

I've got a better idea....when Skates go into admin we should set up a phoney consortium, but ensure our story is a bit tighter than Barry the Briefcase/pinnacle consortium. Make out we are going to save the Skates and with significant investment...drag out the crossing of the I's and dotting of the T's until it is too late and Skates are made extinct. We don't want their supporters, let them all revert back to supporting Man United like they did before Skates got promoted to the Premier. To be fair, even in a delluded world, if their hardcore support joined forces with us, it would only add about another 2500 onto our gates and they would all be fish fiddling, child sex cases.

I disagree, we should sign 5 players that cost £6M - £7M each to make sure of promotion. If the board don't release this sort of money then they are just a bunch of publicity seeking ****s lol

Whilst we still have two very difficult games versus MK Dons in the Southern Area final, it's worth noting that if we were to play Leeds in the final, it is likely that we would get a smaller allocation of tickets than Leeds fans. Correct me if I am wrong please, butThe JPT (Wembley) final tickets are based on average attendances over the course of the season, meaning that Leeds could massively outnumber us at Wembley if the teams were to get through. Does anyone know exactly how the allocation of tickets works? .....Even more the reason for those of you thinking of half year season tickets to get the m now. Especially if season ticket holders are able to buy 2 per ticket.

I'm in FA2 with Dog, not looking forward to the drive back to Southampton, but hopefully 3 points will make it all that bit sweeter ;-)

Hi, Unfrotuantely I didn't manage to make it to Orient as I had arrangements to be in Reading yesterday. I was fortunate enough to spend some time chatting to soemone very senior at Reading F.C who knows Pards very well. As I am more than likely to get some useful future information from him I won't mention who he is. We had a very good chat for around 20 minutes just discussing football. Clearly high topics of conversation were Pards (with his time working with him), Antonio, Rasiak and Olie Lancashire (who he has known for some time). He said Pards was very happy at Saints and the support he has had from the new board. When he met up with Alan last week he said that A.P was raving about Lloyd James and how he is developing into a good footballer. On Antonio he said that he is definitely surplus to requirements at Reading and it is likely that Saints will extend the loan and/or the deal will become a permenant one depending on his development. Indications were that the ball was in A.P court on that one, but Reading would allow him to leave. He said that league one 'was about his level'. I raved about his performance against MK Dons and didn't want to ruin my credibility by likening him to Gerge Best but I said he ahs done well so far. Discussed Rasiak. I said he would do well at Reading and score goals. He seems genuinely suprised at just how lazy Rasiak was ...this included training!! You would have thought they would have done their research because every Saints fan could tell you that, but there you go. Also discussed Olie Lancashire and he said that he always felt OL would benefit from playing at right back as he has never looked like being a dominant and commanding centre half. Thinks OL will move on. Anyway in summary this is what I recall, nothing vastly breaking news. I was trying not to make a tit of myself after 6 pints of cider, but I will be catching up with him again soon for much longer. Regards Mouldy

It is possible to get tickets for the home end no problem. Because there are some seats empty for unreserved purposes you could actually ask to be moved to the away end once the game has started.
