A relative term for him I would suggest! Didn't he get a new contract based on his form under Koeman (when he scored....10 in a season I think?) And he was linked to Liverpool if I recall correctly.

That is an incredible message to hear (presumably from someone in the club). I really hope the guy fulfils his potential.

Not sure he gives us the 'panic when the ball is lumped into the box' that Pelle did. Which could be an effective (though ugly) Plan B.

Ideal Plan B off the bench when we're facing a parked bus. We do lack a physical presence up front. Not sure we'd ever see Ralph shouting for us to hit it long into box though.

Pele would give us an immediate Plan B from the bench; there are a few games this season where a big fella in the box in the last 10 minutes would've helped.

I remember Long coming in for an injured Pele in around Christmas time, during the Koeman years. Was excellent then. So fingers crossed!

Bin-dippers may have the greatest fans, and Pompey the bestest. But surely we're the most Christmasy? Santa used to play for us, we're red and white, Le God worn #7, Jesus was our right back and Christmas Marsden was a football genius. Have a good one chaps!

I think you're right. However: at some point Salisu has to be thrown in. Presumably he's nearly there, or he wouldn't be on the bench? Maybe Ralph is waiting for Shrewsbury.
