He's far better in the air than JS, has better positioning, is quicker, puts his body on the line far more and is more of a leader/organiser. He does get very rusty without games, but over a season (or any 3+ game run) he is a superior player. Great that he's back!

Makes perfect sense. Also shows his confidence and desire in working with and improving players. Trim the squad, add 2/3 of quality and give an opportunity for the youngsters to step up. I wonder how many transfer windows we'll need to achieve that!
