Thanks for the info. Interesting if the owner was furious. Wonder if this was directed at anyone in particular, or just general annoyance at the performance.

Could we be about to sell FF? Pure speculation on my part, but he was dropped somewhat unexpectedly....when it could have happened weeks ago. Probably nothing to the timing, but you never know.

There was talk about him being homesick back in the summer. Would be a shame if he left.

I think he'd be a great signing. He is a better wide-man than any of our options. He will certainly do a far better job on the right side than anyone we have, both from a creative and goal-scoring point of view. Plus he does have a fair bit of experience, and, given he is 'one of ours' - may well bring some drive and passion for the club into the first team. Not sure I'd want him up front on his own though. Of course signing him doesn't mean we're NOT getting a target man too.

I do (rather cynically) wonder if he'd have his directness coached out of him my MoPe!

In my dreams we had our replacement manager in the directors box, watching us...preparing for when he takes over next week.
