both Shaw and Clyne have knocks from last Sunday.. Suppose it was too risky that both start..hence Richardson on the bench
-
ffs just how many ex employees have to take us, or threaten to take us to court to get thier dosh... are we broke or something, or are we just petty penny pinchers.. our reputation is getting around Nicola !!!!!!!!
-
He acted honouraby when he left Scunny. He has always said when he left the club he wished to be the 'right way'.. FFS FOR ONCE CAN'T WE JUST TREAT SOMEONE DECENTLY.. give him his pay off Cortese, and let him move on... he deserves it FFS and the other 3 you sacked at the same time as well !!!!!! afterall we supposed to be going on to bigger things, no need to act like cheap skates
-
my only concern is that he is reported as saying it is obvious we won't get relegated... too many managers have wrecked their careers claiming their team was to good to go down.. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/10248816._/

Simple solution.. A football placed on the centre spot in SMS Franny in on one penalty spot Nicola, or better stll his 'football adviser' Les Reed on t'other penalty spot.. when whistle blows both go for it..last man standing is the winner Reckon that would get a full house and pay for any legal damages, and of course medical expenses

I could be wrong, but I don't think this is a Saint's related thread! did you watch our game ?
-
As Wigan were waiting to take a corner Ponch bought on JWP.. WHO SAID IT LED TO A GOAL???????? just a bad habit to get into..
-
Never ever ever ever make a substuition whilst you are waiting to defend a set piece.. Particularly a corner
-
interviewed through his car window, but his words came from somewhere near his car seat
-
that's if Fergie doesn't step in with a punt
-
he is also rumoured to be waiting till Wednesday when Nigel Adkins will be taking up the job at Huddersfield.
-
Well, if you could not see it it in the summer, then what good will it do to highlight even more.. it is self evident! We have to go at the pace of one man, rightly or wrongly.
-
Why do you assume Saints can't do more than one deal at a time? simple, because they really haven't been able to in the recent past... our recruitment is clumsy, slow, and involves too many people who daren't make a decision without referring it to Cortese.
-
we are in danger of taking our eye off the ball again, as we did with Ramirez in the summer. Other targets out there will not sit about waiting whilst we throw everything into getting this lad from Inter. If it goes tits up, we will be left with nothing and only a few days of the window to go. A perfect recipe for panic buying at the last minute

Any news of the benchs ?
-
it's most likely that Yoshida's place that is in jeopardy, as Adkins has often stated he likes one right footed and one left footed centre backs.. Astori is completely left footed
-
our academy is the envy of the biggest clubs. No sooner any of our lads show signs of being any good the vultures start circling.. Luke Shaw their latest ?? OH NO.. it seems his potential replacement is also causing them to slobber in anticipation.. http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2892/transfer-zone/2013/01/04/3645637/-?

shaky start, nerves..no way!!! that was sheer lack of physical coordination... look at the first two mistakes, his eyes weren't even fixed on the ball. It was only the defence and midfields hard graft that protected him from further pressure from Arsenal. Guly was panicked into slashing at a ball that was his..yet there no call...no call from an experienced international keeper FFS.
-
Gazzanigga..but he needs a role model here whilst he developes... someone who can still play a bit, Robinson or Frediel would be OK for that. Failing that..stump up £10m and go for the best available Rui Patricio
-
a total statue of a keeper.. a mere shadow of his former self.. had it not been for some excellent defending his ineptness would have been exposed in the second half. If we rely on him for the rest of the season start preparing for the Championship.
