well, todays the day.. the last day Pompey can exit administration and take the -10 point hit this season. Will they ??? will they feck, they will continue down the same defiant path, cocking a snoop at everyone.. believing they are a special case where the tax payer has to pay for their very existence, where suppliers supply them free without those nasty bills. Where players fall over themselves to join them without any fee to thier former clubs, without wages even. They are the bestest remember, state of fart Fratton reverbiates to the sound of bells, full to the rafters every game, with queues from Fratton to Fareham for any spare seat. Whilst investors and those wishing to give thier grand to the trust fight each other to hand their money over.. Yes indeed they are a very special case..

Saints charged by FA for failing to control players vs Norwich

No, I never denied he was a good keeper, just too unfit to play..and that was down to his diet and habits.. Florentina were absolutely shocked at his eating habits. If he keeps to the right diet etc, fair play to him, but there can be no denying he wasted 5 months of his contract here... and what a difference that could have made to our season

Boruc is indeed a good keeper, just a pity all the MacDonalds and fags kept him out for 5 months

Norwich City 0-0 Southampton // Post-Match Reaction
patred44 replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Just got in.......Who was it said it wasn't the North Pole eh! Sure I saw a Yeti taking thier penalty for them. 0-0, not bad considering the conditions and that ****tinburg was trying to make himself man of the match and himself a Norfolk hero in one. Boruc made him look more of a Norfolk Turkey in the end. Boy is that Ramirez a luxury.. give me a Cork, J Rod or Schniderlin anytime Surprised that Puncheon didn't come on earlier, we never threatened them once down that side.. it was crying out for a little dart at their left hand side. Well good luck to the rest of the lads getting back home...it's really chucking the white stuff down now.. NOT THE NORTH POLE PAH !! Now to put reindeer away, and then a nice cuppa Bovril in front of the fire -
Bassong is a very good defender and is quite capable of marking Lambert out of the game, so, if selected, a lot will be down to Jay Rod. What really worries me is that Norwich counter attack with real pace, and that will cause us trouble if we go too gung hoo. A solid performance at the back could earn us a point though..and I'd take that.

undoubtabally our best result under Mopo was home against City.. On the day Mancini decided to play a midfielder in central defence instead of Kompany On the day Gareth Barry scored the most outragious own goal and Englands best keeper makes a right ricket and drops the ball at S. Davis feet. Yes we played well, they let us, in fact they encouraged us.. we got very lucky that day

the subject of this thread is totally irrelevant. Afterall a manager out of work, just been sacked because his team is bottom of league, is hardly going to turn the job down, he would be stupid. The question we should be asking was the vacancy neccessary ? Did we need to send Nigel on 'garden leave'. No doubt that Adkins had changed the 'default system' to make it harder to break us down, and it was working. We were getting enough points to keep us out of the relegation zone. The 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge was indicative of our new resolve. He was rewarded with the sack. We were told it was an appointment which would secure our future. We all know deep down that Cortese was upset that Adkins changed the formation, and that, to him, was unforgivable. So instead of backing his manager with neccessary signings in January, he decided to sculk around the continent looking for someone to replace him. Now it won't be Mauricios fault if we get relegated, nor Adkins, it will be those who decided to take the risk at a vital time for stability. They sacrificed a vital vital transfer window with thier personal vendetta and put this clubs PL status at real risk.

in all this no one has asked the obvious.. Forren exactly who decided on him? Who signed him? Who done all the negoiations behind the managers back? Nigel Adkins knew nothing of him, that much the club admits, Mauricio knew nothing about him until he was told, so he says. When Forren was asked he deplomatically replied that Southampton FC signed him and revealed no more. I have my own opinion on who signed him.. but it would be nice if that person(s) were approachable enough to explain why he was signed at that time. That goes to the very root of who, or who should be responsible for the make up of the squad !
-
but he is not unattached, he has a contract until June2013..he can talk to us, he can even sign a precontractrual contract..but he can't come here till the end of June. note..he has not been able to get into the first team since Poncho got fired..and even then he had only made 14 appearances including 8 times as sub.

Someone nip down to Nigels house and get him out of the garden
